Chapter 33: Christmas is here!

Emi's pov

I can't believe Christmas is around the corner! I was excited since the school was all decorated and it was that time of year. Dad was always working late, but his boss lets him go home early now since it's Christmas. I threw my covers over my head as I came back to reality, I still had to go to school and I wasn't looking forward to it. "Come on, Emi! Or we'll be late." Haruhi called making groan, well today is the last day before break. I climbed out bed and caught the whiff of peppermint and hot chocolate, I grabbed my uniform and rushed out of my room to see Dad setting the table. "Good morning, sweetheart.. I made you hot chocolate. Go get ready for school and you can have it." I rushed into the bathroom, taking my shower. I washed my short brown hair and towel dried after getting dressed, I kept the towel in my hand just in case my hair decided to drip. I hung the towel back up, walking out of the bathroom and ran into Haruhi.

She seemed a little frazzled but other than that she seemed fine, "Morning, sis. We gotta get going." She gave me my bag, as I took it from her and looked up at her. "Dad made us hot chocolate. We're gonna have to drink it on the way to school. And you might want to grab a coat, it started snowing before you woke up." I nodded, rushing into my room to grab the coat that my aunt had given me a month ago. She visited during Thanksgiving break with my cousins and uncle, we had a blast when she came here. I put my coat on, followed by my shoes and quickly rushed out of the room. I picked up my hot chocolate, giving Dad a quick kiss and rushed out the door with Haruhi. She was right when she said that it was snowing, the snow fell slowly but just enough to cover the ground. I squealed as I drank my hot chocolate and grabbed Haruhi's hand, Dad put our hot chocolates in thermals so we didn't spill it.

"Come on, Haruhi.... It's snowing!!! I bet Tamaki-senpai and the others are excited." She stumbled as she tried to keep up with me, but couldn't as I kept pulling her arm. As soon as we reaches the school, I greeted people until we reached the classroom. I gasped in delight seeing the classroom all decorated, "Hey, there. Merry Christmas." The Class rep greeted, "Oh hey, class rep... Merry Christmas to you too." Haruhi gave him a small smile, as our class president was handing out something. "Haruhi!!!!" Renge threw her arms around Haruhi, who was a bit startled by her actions. "I didn't scare you, did I?" Renge's big brown eyes stared into Haruhi's, as Haruhi gave her a small smile. "No, you didn't. I was just a little frazzled this morning. It's no big deal." She smiled, "Haruhi!!! Emi!!!" My head turned to see my two mischievous best friends, "Hikaru!! Kaoru!!!" I ran to them both and gave them a hug. We took our seats as the teacher decided since today was the second to last day before break, we would watch a movie. "Hikaru, what are we doing in club today?" I had my head in my hand, as I shifted my eyes from the screen to him. "I think we're throwing a party today. Tamaki-senpai said he wanted to send everyone off, since he'll be missing us even more over break." Hikaru had his head in his hands, as well and looked at the screen. I turned back to the movie and halfway through I started to feel sleepy, my eyes grew a bit teary. I closed my eyes, leaning on Hikaru's shoulder as the movie continued.

I was shaken awake by Haruhi, "Hey come on, it's lunch time." I rubbed my eyes with a yawn, as I stretched my arms out. I got off my chair and followed after Haruhi as we paid for our lunch and headed to the table. "Emi!!!" I was tackled into a hug by Honey-senpai, as I almost dropped my lunch tray. "Oh hey, Honey-senpai. What's up?" Haruhi walked over to us, as I gave Mori-senpai the tray. He took the tray from me, before he set it down on the table next to us. "Are you happy to spend Christmas with us?" I gave him a look of confusion and raised an eyebrow at him.

"What?" My voice came out soft, "Don't you remember?" I shook my head, as he held onto me.

"You agreed to spend Christmas with us and host members." He gave me a sad smile, "You did what?!!" Haruhi yelled at me, "Wait!! I don't remember you asking about it!!!" Honey-senpai walked around to the front of me and stood with Mori-senpai, giving me a shake of the head. I turned to look at Kyoya, who held up his hands and shrugged. "I don't remember promising that!!! If you hold it against me, I am not gonna forgive you for it." My hands shot straight to my hip, making me seem a little too preppy.

"Awwww, he's so cute.. I just can't resist!" Another girl squeezed the life out of me, making me panic since her reaction was so sudden. "Uh, miss... Please put Emi down. He doesn't like to be picked up by random students." Haruhi asked nicely, but the girl didn't listen and was being a bit rude in my opinion. "If I may ask you? Please let Emi go. I know you must find him adorable, but please let our dear Emi eat in peace." Kyoya's voice seemed to reach the girl as she put me down gently, patting down my big blue school boy's uniform jacket. "I'm sorry. Is it okay if I come see you today?" I gave her a smile, "Sure." She squealed, rushing back over to her friends as they all took pictures of me. I looked at them, tilting my head to the side.

"Looks like our dear Emi here is popular with the ladies." Tamaki-senpai smiled down at me, as he put his hands on my shoulder.
