Haruhi's pov
We were coming from the cafeteria after grabbing Emi's things, Ian and Akihiko had ran after Emi but they said that they couldn't find Emi. Not only that but Honey seems to have gone missing as well, "Where could Emi have run off too? If she wasn't in the garden." Tamaki-senpai questioned and my eyes shifted over to him, I could tell he was worried but there was someone more worried than him. "Do you think she ran away from the school?" Kaoru asked and I could see in his eyes, more concern than any of us.
I was worried but I knew Emi would turn up eventually or she probably went home without her things, "It's possible. But where has Honey-senpai gone?" I looked to Mori-senpai, who shrugged not really knowing how his friend disappeared. "There she is!" Yori called out and pointed to Emi but something was wrong. I could tell by the way she was running, "Emi, there you are.. We were just looking for you. Club w-" Emi brushed past Kaoru, as tears ran down her cheeks and I started to worry. Emi grabbed her bag from Hikaru and ran off, towards the entrance of the school. "Emi! Wait!!" I called out, but she didn't stop running. Her tears felt like bullets.
"Emi looked heartbroken. Come on, we need to find Honey-senpai. Something definitely happened between them." Tamaki-senpai grabbed my hand and dragged me down the hallway until we heard talking so everyone became quiet and we peeked out from behind the wall. "Honey-senpai, I really want you to think about it okay. I really, really like you. And it's not because your cute but your my type of guy. I'll see you later." There was a girl in front of Honey-senpai and she kissed him but the crazy thing is, is that he didn't push her away. The girl then pulled away, gave him a small wave and walked away and a sigh was heard as Honey-senpai hung his head.
"What do I do? Emi will be upset." I realized something and turned the opposite way and started running, "Haruhi, where are you going?!" Tamaki-senpai whispered yelled, "To talk to Emi!!" I whisper yelled back and ran out of the school.
When I got home, it was extremely quiet and I was starting to get the feeling Emi had locked herself in her room. I walked to her room and reached for the door knob only to hear her soft cries coming from the room.
"Emi, are you okay?" I turned the door knob and just like I guessed, she had locked the door.
"Go away, Haruhi."
Her feeling this way was breaking my heart and I knew that nothing would cheer her up. I was going to have to wait until she came out of her room herself, so she can talk to me. I leaned my head against the door trying not to get emotional because I knew she needed a shoulder to cry on although she didn't want now.
"I'm here if you want to talk to me, Okay. I'm always here for you. I'll be in the living room, if you need me."
The next day...
It was already time for club but Emi seemed in a bad mood, she refused and fought Tamaki-senpai because she didn't want to wear the cosplay he picked for her. So they had to get Anna to get her into the clothes which made her mood even worse. "I think it's best if she sits with Tamaki-senpai for the time being." Kyoya-senpai pushed up his glasses and looked over to Tamaki-senpai. "I agree to that. But since Emi isn't in such an upright mood, I won't annoy her too much. Haruhi what exactly is wrong with her?" Tamaki-senpai looked over at me.
"I think it's because of what we saw happen with Honey-senpai and that girl yesterday. I think Emi saw it before we did." I explained and we all looked over at Honey-senpai and Emi. The two were across the room but Emi didn't pay attention to Honey-senpai and what he was doing, she sat on the couch that Tamaki-senpai sits on and was reading a manga. "Poor Emi, she must be heartbroken." Renge shook her head and stared at Emi. I guess she was getting subtle hints that Emi was a girl but she still couldn't tell I was one, which is weird. Mori-senpai noticed that Emi hadn't even batted an eyelash toward Honey-senpai and he looked back at Honey-senpai, who was playing Usa-chan. But Honey didn't look so happy either and it seemed, he was still bothered by that girl.
"Oh look at the time! Everyone get into places!" Renge shouted and we got into our spots but this time instead of standing with me, Emi had been told to sit on Tamaki-senpai's lap. We were dressed as japanese warriors but in the nice feudal era clothing which I considered a bit uncomfortable. Emi was a Japanese princess, while Tamaki-senpai and I were her brothers and japanese princes from the same family. Honey-senpai was a prince from another kingdom, come to marry Emi and along with him was Mori-senpai, his moral advisor.
I sat with Yori because was the servant under me but I worried for Emi, "Say prince Haruhi..." My eyes shifted back towards my guests, as one of my regulars had spoken up. "Yes, what is it my dear?" I gave her a big smile which made all the girls fawn, "Oh prince Haruhi... You're so cute!" One of my regulars smiled.
"So you had a question, Mia?" I asked.
"Yes, it's actually about Emi. Why is he in such a sad mood? I noticed that during class that he had his head down. Did something happen?" She asked and I looked down. "It's nothing, don't worry to much. Thanks for worrying about him." She giggled at my smile, as I looked back over to Emi. She wasn't talking much, but I guess being near Tamaki-senpai seemed to help her.
