Christmas Special #2

Emi's pov

"So what do you think we'll be doing for club?" I asked Haruhi, the two of us were making our way to school. It was the first week of December and already the temperature dropped, so Haruhi and I were dressed warmly for the weather. Dad didn't want us walking out in the cold without having something to warm us up, so he made us hot cocoa and gave us some heat packs to keep in our pockets to keep our hands warm in case they got cold. "I'm not sure but whatever it is, I doubt that we'll be left alone." She sighed, taking a sip of her hot cocoa that Dad made. "Why do you say that?" I looked over at her, "Tamaki-senpai. I doubt he's going to let us have our Christmas plans, without somewhat involving him and the other club members." I shook my head in agreement after thinking for a minute, "You're right, he won't. But that isn't so bad, is it?" I chuckled, "No, I suppose not. Well, won't it be awkward for you if we have to spend Christmas with the host club?" She asked, turning her head to me as I took a sip of my cocoa.

"No, why'd you ask?"

"Because this will be your first Christmas without Honey-senpai being your boyfriend." She said, "Right... I didn't think of that." I looked down at my thermos as we walked, "Will you be okay?" She asked, "Yeah, why wouldn't I be? I mean, yeah, I broke up with Honey-senpai.. But I have you and Tamaki-senpai.."

"And Kaoru?" I looked up at her with a slight blush, "What?" I asked, "You heard me.. I know he confessed to you. Hikaru told us the same day, you two went to the beach." She smiled, "Aww man, I thought only I knew of this." Haruhi laughed at my reaction, as my cheeks began to feel warm. "What do you think about Kaoru? Are you going to give him a chance or are you going to reject him?" She asked, "I'm giving Kaoru a chance.. I know that I just got out of a relationship, but he's giving me time to get over the break up. So that when we do go out, I'm not being held back by my previous relationship." I smiled, looking down at the thermos thinking back to the beach date. "Well, I think that's a good choice.. I'm going to support either way." Haruhi said, "Of course you will, you're my sister." I laughed, making her chuckle as we finally made it to school. Haruhi and I headed to first period, finding that the classroom was being decorated by both Class Rep Soga and Class Rep Kurokano. Some of the other students were also helping with putting up the decorations, the classroom looked so nice. I loved the fact the school went all out for Christmas, they always went out of their way to decorate the school around this time. They always seemed to lift everyone's spirits, just by going all out on decorations.

"Good morning, guys." Class Rep Kurokano greeted, "Good morning, class rep. What's with all the decorations?" I asked her, "Ahahaha," I groaned slightly when I heard Renge's annoying laugh, come from somewhere in the classroom. I put my bag on the table to the right of us, as a pair of feet suddenly touched the desk making me back up into Hikaru. "Well, let me explain.. Class 1A has entered a competition with Class 1B and several other classes. The competition is that whichever class has the best decorated class for Christmas wins.. The class gets a break from work for a whole week while on break and they get to hold a party for the class." Renge explained, "So you basically came up with this stupid idea, right?" I muttered, raising an eyebrow at her.

"In fact, I came up with this idea myself. And I'll make sure that we win this competition!! Ahahaha!" Renge laughed like a crazy person, making me sigh and shake my head.

"So what will we be doing in the meantime?" I asked Class Rep Soga, as Haruhi and I walked to our seats. "We're going to be watching a Christmas classic." Class Rep Soga said.

Hours later...

I yawned loudly, stretching my arms as Haruhi and I were walking to the club room. "Why do you think Kaoru and Hikaru were being all secretive about what we were doing for club this morning?" I asked, "I have no clue. But I think I have an idea about who is behind it." Haruhi made a face, making me laugh as I realized who she was hinting at. "Well, I guess we just have to be prepared for anything they throw at us." I chuckled, as we stood in front of the Music Room doors. "You wanna open it or should I?" Haruhi asked, "You open it." I said, which resulted in her making a face at me. Haruhi took in a deep breathe and let it out, she then opened the door and I was suddenly hit in the face with flower petals. This felt like Deja vu. "Flower petals!" I coughed up one pink flower petal, before wiping my face. Once I looked in the room, I was shocked to see what was in the room.

"Wow," Haruhi said, as we both walked into the club room. Everything was beautifully decorated, even the couches were decorated. "Surprise!!" Kaoru and Hikaru shouted, "What is all this?" I asked, "Since you told us that you guys won't be able to do much this Christmas, we thought it would be a good idea to throw you guys a Christmas/ New Years Eve party!" Tamaki-senpai explained, he was wearing a nice cream colored suit. I noticed that all the other club members were wearing suits as well, "Kasanoda, what are you doing here?" Haruhi asked, as I finally took notice of the tall red head standing beside Mori-senpai. "Well, I, uh, wanted to wish you guys a merry Christmas." He stammered with a blush, "We invited him," Hikaru popped up on Kasanoda's left, "Because he seemed lonely." Kaoru popped up on Kasanoda's right, making me chuckle. A smile made it's way onto my face as I looked to Haruhi, who was just as happy as I was.

"Well, what are we waiting for?! Let's get this party started!!" Anna exclaimed, letting out a loud cheer. Mori-senpai pressed a button on a remote and music started playing, "My darling daughters. I have some outfits for you to wear!! Go put these on!" Tamaki-senpai shoved some clothes in Haruhi and I arms, before pushing us towards the changing area. Once the curtains we're shut, Haruhi and I let out a small laugh as I took a look at the clothes Tamaki handed us. My outfit consisted of a gray long sleeved top with no straps, to match it was a red skirt and black low cut boot heels. Haruhi's outfit consisted of a red dress with a Santa hat and black boots.

"Emi, you look so cute." Haruhi smiled as she brushed my hair, "Thanks, you look good yourself." I said, making her chuckle.

We stepped out from behind the curtain but before I could step towards Anna, I was suddenly swooped off of my feet. "Oh!! You look so precious!! My darling daughter!" My eyebrow twitched in annoyance, as Tamaki-senpai rushed his cheeks on mine. Haruhi smacked Tamaki-senpai on the head, snatching me away from him and set me on my feet.

"I have hot cocoa and cinnamon rolls!" Yori called as he came out of the kitchen with a tray of hot chocolate, behind him came Kyoya-senpai with a tray of cinnamon rolls. I excitedly rushed over to the hot cocoa, carefully grabbing a cup and a cinnamon roll. I took my seat near the window, sipping my hot cocoa and watched the sight of the people outside.

"Hey,"

"Hey," I sipped my hot cocoa, "How are you doing?" I looked over to Kaoru, who was looking out the window. "Much better than in a while." I looked back out the window, "Kaoru.. I want to tell you something." He looked over at me, as I placed my hot cocoa on the small table beside me.

"What is it?" Kaoru and I locked eyes, "I want to give us a chance." Kaoru looked shocked for a second, before breaking into a big smile. "Really? Are you serious?" He asked, "Yeah, I'm being serious." I said, as a large smile appeared on my face.
