Emi's pov

"So, Emi..." Yori started, making me look over at him with my eyebrow raised. The tone in his voice made me aware that he was going to ask about Kaoru, or he was about to tease me. Haruhi, Anna, Yori, and I were headed to school together and I was walking right behind Anna. "What Yori? I know that tone, what do you want?" I looked over at him, "How's Kaoru treating you?" I looked over at him, raising an eyebrow because I was curious as to why he was asking. "He's treating me well... Why'd you ask?" I questioned, turning to face him. "I just wanted to know... You are my best friend and I just wanted to make sure that he was treating you right." Yori said, shrugging his shoulders. For some reason, I could see some kind of weird glint in his eyes, but I couldn't exactly pinpoint what emotion it was. "He better be treating you well... Or else, he'll have to answer to me." Anna threatened, pounding her fist into her hand which made Haruhi sweatdrop while I just laughed.

"Seriously Anna, you shouldn't always go beat up a boy that Emi is interested in." Haruhi chuckled nervously.

"I can't help it. Those boys naturally just piss me off because they don't know how to properly treat Emi." Anna said, making me chuckle and shake my head.

It didn't take long before the four of us arrived at school. When we got to the classroom, everything seemed completely out of sorts which is odd because our class normally wasn't this excited over something. Haruhi and I stood in the doorway, watching our classmates surround Akihiko's and Ian's desk. "Good morning, Haruhi. Emi." I turned my head, smiling as Hikaru and Kaoru walked over to the two of us. "Morning guys." Haruhi greeted, "What's going on over there?" Hikaru asked, looking over to the crowd of kids. "No clue, we just got here and they were already crowded around Akihiko and Ian's desk," Haruhi explained, shrugging as we walked over to our desk. I was curious to as why they were all crowding around the two boys but at the same time, I didn't want to get involved with anything. Getting involved with anything dealing with those two always ended in either utter chaos, or in a huge blown up argument.

Lunchtime rolled around and I noticed that as we had sat down, many of the girls were whispering about something and looking over at me which made me feel extremely self-conscious. "Emi, are you alright?" Tamaki-senpai asked, "Yeah, it just feels weird because everyone is staring at me." I said, looking up at the girls who suddenly looked away. "Don't pay too much attention to it, they probably are just talking about your haircut," Yori said, dismissing the girls' gossiping.

"Hey Emi," I let out a sigh, turning my head to the left where I heard the voice speak up.

"What do you want, Ian?" I shoved a forkful of food in my mouth, shifting my eyes onto my food.

"I wanted to ask you something." He said, when I looked over at him, he was blushing and I couldn't tell why. He seemed nervous and the way I could tell, was by the way he hung his head and the way he fiddled with his fingers. Strange.

"Before you ask your question, should we go somewhere more private? I get the feeling that what you're about to ask will pertain to Emi." Kyoya-senpai suggested, "I guess... Yeah.." With that said, we all headed to the club room to finish the conversation and our lunch. I sat beside Haruhi and to my left sat Tamaki-senpai, while Yori and Kaoru sat across from me.

"What is it?"

"Will you please go out with me?" The minute the question left his mouth, I spat out my drink which ended up on Yori. Haruhi patted my back as I choked on the remaining liquid in my mouth before I was finally able to swallow properly. "What did you just ask?" I turned my head to him, my eyes locking with his. "I asked if you would go out with me?" Ian asked, "Ian." Shivers went down my spine as I heard Kaoru call his name, I looked over at him to see that he was absolutely seething.

"Kaoru, please... I need to convince my parents not to take me back to my other school. If they see that I already have a girlfriend, they won't take me out of school. Please. Please, just lend me Emi for one day." He begged, tears sprouting in his eyes and suddenly I felt incredibly stressed out. "You know... Seeing as how Ian is one popular customer in our club... I think our customers would like it if they could request a date with a member." Kyoya-senpai said, making me look over at him. "So?" Hikaru asked, "I think we should make that an event. Customers can win a date with their favorite host. It would bring in a lot more club funds. So to kick it off, Emi, you should go out with Ian." This time instead of me spitting out my drink it was Haruhi, Anna, and Tamaki-senpai.

"WHAT??" The three of them shouted in perfect unison.

       ~Three hours later~

I let out a loud sigh, shaking my head as Ian dragged me to all different kinds of stores in the mall.  Haruhi and Kaoru argue with Kyoya-senpai for an hour about this, but he didn't care and managed to get me to agree to go out with Ian. Just as we were heading to get some food at the food court, Ian had managed to bump into a huge man who was standing in line to get food. He apologized for bumping into him profusely, to which the guy said that it was fine and dismissed the whole situation. "So what do you want to eat?" He asked as we stood in the middle of the food court, trying to figure out what to eat. "How about there?" I pointed towards a smaller restaurant, which happened to make my favorite burger. He agreed and we got in line, which happened to be pretty long. Before we could move up, some guy cut us off and it seemed to irritate Ian. "Excuse me sir, but you just skipped us. We were next in line." Ian spoke up, causing the huge man to turn towards the two of us. "Gotta problem with it?" My eyes widened when I realized that the guy towered over Ian and me, which was terrifying because he is huge.

"As a matter of fact, I do.  You skipped us and we have already been waiting here for 20 minutes." He said.

"Ian, please.. Just drop it." I shook his arm, pleading for him to stop but he didn't care. He only continued to argue with this man and once he had enough of Ian's antics, he called over several men and they immediately came after us. "Keep going!!! We have to keep going!" Ian shouted as he pulled me along with him. The two of us were currently being chased through the crowded mall, by several large men. I can't believe that we have to do this, it's so stupid. I never realized that Ian was involved in this kind of thing because he didn't seem like the type to get into trouble with others. The only person that he ever really didn't get along with was Akihiko, who seemed like the type of person to get into trouble like this. I looked over my shoulder, seeing that the men were still hot on our trail so I looked around to see what we could do to lose them. Just as we ran into a large crowd of people, I shoved a chair back which tripped one of the men. I felt a tug on my hand, making me look over at him. He motioned for me to follow him, as he shoved a large cart behind us.

We heard shouts coming from behind us, but I didn't pay any mind to it and kept running. As soon as we turned the corner, Ian tugged on my hand again and I was pulled into a small store which happened to be a clothing store. He pulled us through the store, pushing me into an open changing room, and closed the door behind us. "We can't keep running from them forever." Ian panted,  looking up at me from his bent position. "Well, how else are we supposed to escape from them?! You're the one who got us in this mess, you have to figure out how to get us out." I said, extremely annoyed at him. "I got an idea!" He said, making me quirk an eyebrow at him.

"Which is?" I was skeptical as to what he had planned in his mind, seeing as this supposed 'date' had already become a huge mess.

"I honestly regret saying yes to you, Ian." I muttered, looking away from him.
