I  walked down the large corridor. I used to run for hours on this corridor chasing Thor. But back then we were kids. Now things are different. We are different. We're not close anymore. At least not how used to be. For days now him and mother and father have been acting quite different. I got out of bed with my normal attire this morning. Ate breakfast with them and now, as i'm walking down this corridor, I can't help but hear their voices. Thor's is the loudest. I can also hear Heimdall's. I created an illusion so the guards thought I was walking back to my room. I am no longer a prisoner. At least not in a cage. Mother and Thor finally convinced Odin to release me. However, I have to be in my room almost all day. It's actually not as bad as I thought. I can just create illusion and enjoy some hours of free time.

As i walked toward their voices, they got louder. Before i made myself visible to them, i hid behind a wall.

"Sometimes i see her, but then she becomes invisible to my eyes. She is not mortal." said Heimdall.

"You're supposed to be able to see anyone within the 9 realms. Why not her?" Thor said impatiently

"I'm sure there's an explanation Thor." mother said.

"She's not mortal....she's-" Heimdall was interrupted by Odin

"A...goddess? You're saying there's a goddess of mischief and lies?"

what?

They exchanged glances. Mother and Odin looked at each other with concern.

"I thought only Loki had those powers." said Thor

mother looked at him and said "....if she's a goddess, then what is she doing in Midgard?"

Midgard, she's in Midgard

Heimdall simply answered "I do not know the answer my queen" mother simply nodded. "we should get going" she said

"I'll go take care of some business."  Odin said as he left.

of course, always too busy being king

mother and Thor started walking away as well. I made myself invisible to them as they walked past me and followed them. They walked in silence for a while until mother spoke.

"she's a very beautiful young lady"

"she should be here. this is the home of the gods. what is she doing there?"

"i do not know my son"

"mother...?"

"yes?"

"..is....is it possible?"

mother looked at him for a second and understood what he was talking about. He was referring to someone being the girl version of me.

"it's not impossible....."

"i wonder if she is causing trouble in Midgard. She is basically Loki"

"shh, we must not speak of this again. Loki must not find out."

as mother said that i couldn't help but feel confused and betrayed. Why would she keep this girl from me? I must see her. I must meet this version of me.

As I laid on my bed that night, I couldn't help but think about the girl. What did she look like? Did she really possess powers like mine? Was she really a "silver tongue"? I desire to meet this girl. Meeting someone who's just like me shouldn't be a bad thing right?
