Mello is terrified of letting you go outside alone at night. Being part of the mafia, he's always ready to shoot any creep that touches you

Being a pretty laid back and playful guy, he's simply scared of someone better than him taking you or someone hurting you so much you fall into depression.

Light

Lights fear is odd but logical, he's terrified of accidentally writing your name on Death Note paper. Although it's unlikely he will, he's still scared he'd accidentally kill you.
