Ok so in my Netflix rant, I described Misa... sorry 'Mia' as a slut.

AND PEOPLE GOR PISSED.

Fuck sakes it's been over a year and still get comments about it.

Firstly, I actually like Misa, she's a fucking queen.

I described Netflix Misa that way because when I posted the rant it was before the Netflix one came out, and there were many many articles on anime forums talking about how Netflix Misa was rumoured to be by definition a slut.

The definition of a slut, a girl who sleeps around.

That's what was said to be happening before it came out. It was stated by many anime forums that Misa was by definition going to be a slut, she was going to be portrayed by Netflix as a girl who sleeps around.

Misa from the anime is no way a slut, she was very dedicated to Light.  But at the time I wore the rant, Netflix Misa was literally written to be a slut.

Calm the hell down guys. How else was I meant to describe her? The only words for someone who sleeps around are all bad words, I could have said hoe or whore, they all mean the same thing.

When the adaptation actually came out, I did watch it (it was baaaddd) and those rumours were debunked, but by then I'd forgotten about that rant entirely and I'm not gonna change it bc changing sentences in your books messes with the comments.

Misa is not a slut. At the time of writing the rant, 'Mia' was rumoured to be by definition a slut.

Don't get so triggered. I know so many people believe do girl should be called a slut but guys... she's a fictional character.

Also, BY DEFINITION some girls are sluts, of course don't say it to their face, but some girl sleep around for fun, some girls live for banging people, some girls by definition are sluts.

Finally, note that I call literally everyone a slut. I have a very lewd vocabulary. Of course I don't actually mean that person sleeps around, it's just a joke guys.

I call my friends sluts, they call me a slut we literally greet each other as sluts. Is a joke. Just like a call everyone a bitch or hoe or say stuff like "you're clapped"

Of course I don't mean it.

But I go to a public high school in Australia, us Aussies swear like there's no tomorrow, even the teachers. It's normal for us.

Us Aussies use 'cunt' like we do 'mate'.

Of course not all Aussies are like that, but a good chunk of them are.

So that's why I called Mia a slut.

Stop getting so triggered it's been a year I'm sick of the notifications.
