"Where on earth have you been, Sapphire?"

Isang naka kunot-noong bilyonaryo ang bumungad sa akin pag pasok ko ng bahay. Nakatayo siya sa likod ng sofa, nakapameywang at halatang naiinis dahil sa klase ng titig na ginagawad niya sa akin ngayon. His holding his phone while his laptop is on the table, he must've been working before I came home.

"Kay Fei," I answered with a shrugged shoulder. Akala ko ba may business meeting 'tong lalaking 'to?

"Until this hour?!" Bahagya niyang tinignan ang relong pambisig bago muling binaling nag titig sa akin. Geez. Why is he so annoyed?

I rolled my eyes at him, bago siya tinalikuran para umakyat na sa kwarto. Kung mag aaway lang naman kami, mas okay pang 'wag na lang kaming mag usap.

"Is it too hard for you to type a message to inform me where were you?" His voice a little bit higher than usual as he followed me.

Nasa paanan na kami ng hagdanan nang nahawakan niya ang braso ko. Almost immediately, I swat his hand away at hinarap siya. I eyed him with the same intensity that his eyes widen after seeing my annoyed expression.

"Is it too hard for you to type a message to inform me that you already left?"

Bahagya siyang natigilan. But when I saw how his smile slowly crept on his lips, inirapan ko na siya at muling tinalikuran. Shit. I shouldn't have said that.

"That is why I told you to come with me,"

I can hear how his tone became calm. He stopped me from going upstairs when he held my waist and pulled me to him. I almost shrieked in horror when I felt myself falling from the stairs, only to know that he's there to catch me with his broad chest.

"What the fuck?!"

"So, you want me to text you, huh?" Ngiting asong sabi nya "Did you wait for my message, Love?"

His tender gaze welcomed my sight when I looked at him. Nanatili siyang nakayakap sa akin habang ako naman ay nakakapit sa damit niya dahil sa takot kong mahulog kanina. Natauhan lang nang naramdaman ko ang malalakas na pintig ng puso namin. Now I am not sure whose heartbeat was louder. Mine or his.

"Whatever!" Pagalit ko siyang tinulak at mabilis na umakyat sa hagdan.

I even had to slam my door to wake some senses within me. I leaned on my door and took a deep breath. Ang bilis ng tibok ng puso ko. Oh no.

Vonn's P.O.V.

"The devil seems to be in a good mood" Angelo raised his eyebrow "What happened?"

I tap my pen on the table and smiled at my friend. Lately, I had been feeling great. I just can't take this smile off of my face.
