Chapter 13

Sarah POV-
I took one of Rydel's bikinis along with Ashley, and I walked into the bathroom to change. I changed quickly and met everyone downstairs.

I slid on my sunglasses and sat down on the lawn chair, trying to tan. Ashley joined me sooner and I closed my eyes, taking in the hot sun.

"CANNON BALL!" Someone yelled, then I felt cold splashes hit my legs. I opened my eyes and saw riker and Ross in the pool. I rolled my eyes and closed my eyes again.

Ashley POV-
I rolled my eyes as I saw riker jump in the pool, and then put my sunglasses on to tan some more.

Then I felt cold hands touch my legs. I opened my eyes and took off my glasses. "Hey beautiful." Riker said as he lifted me up bridal style, slowly walking towards the edge of the pool.

"Well hello. Are you gonna throw me in the pool?" I asked. "I am, but I won't if u answer my question." He said. "Oh! And what's that?" I asked smiling. "Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked.

I kissed him gently. "Of course. Now will you put me down?" I asked sweetly. "Nope!" He said popping the p. Before I knew it, I was under the water.

I surfaced trying to catch my breath and saw him laughing. "Riker Anthony Lynch!" I screeched. "Sorry!" He said in between laughs.

I walked out of the pool, and walked over to riker. "Watch your back!" I said. "Oh I'm so scared." Riker said sarcastically before he jumped into the pool. I walked over to Sarah who was continuing her tan, and I took off her glasses and threw them across the pool. "Hey!" She said. "Help me get riker back. You can include Ross in this too. Have 25 water balloons at the ready. Ok?" I commanded. "Yes sir." She said saluting me. I chuckled then walked over to the shed to get some water balloons.

I filled up 25 one by one, all in different colors. "25 water balloons!" Ross said as they carried in a bucket of balloons. "Thanks!" I said as I filled the last one. "So here is the plan, Sarah and I will pelt riker with water balloons, and Ross you push him into the pool. Ok?" I explained. They nodded and took the water balloons. We hid them behind our backs as we waked towards him.

"Hey guys!" He said as he took off his goggles. Sarah and I looked at eachother, then pelted riker with water balloons. He ran around the pool, and before he could get any further, Ross grabbed his arms, spun him around, and pushed him in the pool. I sat down and put my legs in the water. He went in front of me, putting his head in my lap. "Two words, Pay. Back." I said as I ran my fingers through his hair.

"Well played, well played." He said, then before I knew it, riker pulled me into the water.
