Chapter 28

Sarah POV-
My heart started beating out of my chest. "W-what?" I asked, my knees slowly giving out. I felt strong arms wrap around my waist and I immediately knew it was Ross. He helped me up.

"I know! Isn't it exciting?!" Rocky said as he day dreamed about her. Tears started forming in my eyes. "Y-ya. Wonderful." I choked out. I tapped Ross's arms that were wrapped around my waist, and looked up at him with tear filled eyes. I smiled as best I could, and he broke his arms away. I then raced up the stairs and into Ross's room.

I laid face down in his pillow taking his scent in. I wanted to be wrapped in his arms. I needed to. But he's downstairs. Probably talking with rocky considering the screams I hear from downstairs.

The screaming soon stops, then a knock on the door rings through my ears. "Babe?" He asks. "Come in." I said through sniffles. "I need to-" he started. "No, no." I cut him off. "I need you."

The door creaked open and I saw Ross, his face a deep red. Probably from yelling too much. His expression saddened as he saw my tear stained face. "Babe.." He muttered as walked towards me. His arms wrapped around me, and I cried into his chest.

"S-she's gonna come a-after me." I choked out. He rubbed his hand up and down my back for comfort. It made me feel safe. He knew that.

"Shh. No she won't. Not when I'm here." He assured me. I shook my head. "No s-she will I know it. Kendyll doesn't b-back down easily. I will die, she will make it happen."

He stepped back and looked at me sternly in the eye. "Don't say that. Don't say that ever again. I can't lose you. I won't lose you." He said.

I nodded my head as he placed his and on my cheek. "I love you." He said with his forehead leaning on mine. I wiped my tears with my fingers. "I love you too." I said, then he kissed me gently on my lips.
