Chapter 24

Ross POV-
"What?" She said with a worried expression. Her heart rate quickened, and she started to breathe heavily. The machine was beeping quickly, and I didn't know what to do. "Calm down, babe. I'm here for you." I said as I stroked her hair.

She nodded, and her breathing started to slow down. Thank you. "Another thing." I said looking down at our intertwined fingers. "Rocky mentioned something about a tour.." I said trailing off. "This day keeps getting worse and worse doesn't it?" She mumbled. "Tell me about it. But I don't know when, but I'm sure it's going to be in a couple months." I assured her.

"My arms hurt." She said after a couple silent moments. "I wish you could come home." I said. My girlfriend smiled at me and put her hand on my cheek. "Me too, baby." She said.

"Well Sarah, your tests are all set and your stitches are sewn tighter. Your arms are going to hurt for a while, but you can go home right now!" The nurse said. "Thanks so much!" Sarah said. She quickly unhooked herself, then ran to the bathroom to change.

"Ok let's try this again." She said as we walked down the hallway. "What would you like to do to celebrate?" I asked in a British accent. "I don't know.. My arms really hurt and I just wanted to rest. I'm sorry Ross." She said as she looked down.

"It's ok! We'll just watch a movie." I suggested as we jumped into the car. We drove home without a word, and I can tell Sarah's arms hurt.

I parked the car in the driveway, and ran to the other side of the car to help Sarah out. I didn't let her feet hit the ground, and I carried her bridal style into the house. I plopped her down on the couch, and everyone bombarded us with questions. "How are you feeling?" Rydel asked. "Not so good. My head hurts and so do my arms." She said sadly.

"Just leave her alone guys, she needs her space." I said. "Sarah, can you uh, help me?" Rocky asked after everyone else went away. "Sure?" Sarah questioned, then went upstairs with rocky.

Sarah POV-
I'm in so much pain. I don't even feel like walking. I limped up the stairs, and I went into rocky's room.

"So?" I asked sitting on his bed. "So, I have another date with kendyll tonight, and I want to make it perfect." He said. "Rocky I-" I started but he cut me off. "This suit or this one?" He asked, holding up two suits. "Rocky, where is this date going to be?"

"First we are going to dinner, then back here for swimming." He said.

"Rocky, there's something I-" I started, but he again cut me off with a hug. "Thanks so much for your help!" He said, then walked out of the room. How's he gonna find out about kendyll?
