Chapter 5

Sarah POV-
--Friday--
"I can't wait till our date!" I said over the phone when I was talking to Ross. "Me neither!" He said. I smiled and looked down at my feet.

"When do you want me to pick you up?" He offered. "How about 5?" I asked. "Sounds good. See you then." He said. "Okay!" I said, then hung up.

I texted Amanda the time we were coming, then hopped into the shower. I sang along to iTunes Radio until I jumped out and walked to my closet. "What should I wear?" I thought to myself. I took out a flowing crop top, short-shorts, and white sandals. I went to the bathroom to curl my hair, and put my makeup on. I looked at my appearance in the mirror with a smile, and quickly walked out of the bathroom.

I grabbed my purse, then walked down to the living room. I sat down at the kitchen counter, and looked at the magazine that was in the mail. After a good 30 minutes, the doorbell rang. I took a deep breath, then opened the door. "Hey!" I said with a smile. "Hey! Ready to go?" He asked. I nodded then intertwined my fingers with his.

I put my sunglasses on as we entered the car, and turned on the radio. I smiled as the song "Lose yourself to Dance" by Daft Punk came on. I sang along, and Ross chuckled.

We finally got to the ice cream place, and Amanda met us out there. "Hey guys! We just got a new batch of ice cream! Wanna take a look?" Amanda asked as we got out of the car. I nodded, and felt Ross's arms go around my shoulders. I felt butterflies in my stomach as I wrapped my arm around his waist.

We walked in as Amanda led us to the back room. There was a giant freezer in the back. It cold air felt so nice considering the hot summer air.

I heard a phone ringing, and Ross took it out of his back pocket. "Sorry, it's the Austin and Ally producers.. Be right back!" He said before he kissed me on the cheek and walked off. I walked into the freezer with Amanda behind me. "Wow, look at all the-" I said, but a lock of a door cut me off.
