Ross POV-

The next day, we decided to go to the beach to get our minds off things. Me, I probably won't stop thinking of my dead girlfriend. I would never replace her, I can't.

We packed our towels, goggles, and anything else we needed. I slipped on my bathing suit, then brought a sweatshirt and sunglasses. I looked down at my sweatshirt, and saw that it was the one that Sarah always used to wear. I felt tears coming, but blinked then back then walked down stairs.

"Are you ok?" My sister asked. "Yeah, why?" I replied, hearing my voice crack. "Because you have tears on your cheeks and your eyes are swelled up." She said. I wiped my cheeks, and walked into the bathroom to look at my appearance. She was right, I was a mess. I washed my face, then walked right out to the car.

"What took you so long?" Riker asked. I shook my head, "Nothing."

We arrived at the beach, and we set up our chairs. Mom and Dad sat down, when the boys and I played football. We tossed the football, but we were interrupted by a group of girls walking through our game. "Excuse me," I remarked, "Can you walk faster?"

One of the girls looked at me and walked towards me. She looked dangerously similar I Sarah. "What are you going to do about it?" She asked. Her voice, and her personality. Just like Hers. "I-I'm sorry.. Do I know you?" I asked, ignoring her question. "Sorry, no." She said, "But I wish I knew you."

"Sorry, I'm not really interested for a girlfriend right now." I said. The more she flirts, the more the resemblance disappears. "Well I'm looking for a boyfriend!" She said happily. The voice is disappearing too. "I don't think you understood me, I don't want a girlfriend right now." I said, emphasizing my words. "Why? Did your previous girlfriend not wanna be with you anymore?" She asked me. I clenched my fists, "Don't bring her up. Got it?" I snapped. "I'd love to talk about her with a nice cup of coffee later!" She said perkily. I rolled my eyes at her changing of moods. "Oh I would love that! But instead can we talk about how low of a chance you have with me?" I remarked. Her mouth dropped. "Jerk!" She spat in my face, then stormed off.

I smiled, and then continued to pass the ball with my brothers. As I said before, I wasn't giving Sarah up. Never for anything or anyone.

We walked back to Mom and Dad, and found that Ryland had bought us smoothies and French fries. "Thanks man!" I said to him. He just nodded his head and took a sip of his smoothie. "You feeling better?" Rocky asked. I nodded, "Slowly but surely, but I don't think I will fully recover." I said, biting into a fry. "If you're happy, I'm happy." My mom said, barging into our conversation.

I gave her a small smile. "Love you mom." I said. "Love you too, Rossy." She replied, then we all went back to our own conversations.
