Ross POV-

I felt like screaming, smashing something.. Anything that will make my anger vanish.

I felt tears stream down my cheeks as I grabbed her lifeless hand. "Come back." I cried. "Please come back."

I wish that if I squeezed her hand hard enough, that I would shock some life into her.. But I realize I can't.

I kiss her forehead one more time, then let go of her hand and walk back out to the waiting room.

"Well?" Rydel asked standing up, the others copying her actions. I felt tears surface my eyes as I was about to say the news. I clenched my fist as I opened my mouth, "She's gone."

"What?" Ashley nearly shouted, "No she can't be gone that's my best friend you're talking about! She can't be gone she can't!" Riker comforted her as she soon cried into his shirt. "I'm sorry." I choked out. I saw Rydel crying into Ratliff while I sat down in the waiting room.

"We should probably plan the funeral soon." My mother said. I nodded as I felt her hand move up and down my back. "Are you ok?" I heard Rydel ask. I looked at her and saw she was kneeling down in front of me, her arms resting on my legs.

I shook my head. "I have nothing."

I saw her roll her eyes, "You have us Ross." She said. "But I don't have her!" I said. "What are we not good enough for you?" She asked. I shook my head, "No, of course I love you guys! It's just... It was something different with Sarah. She made me feel like the happiest person in the world." I explained. My sister nodded her head. "Come on let's get out of here." She said, then took my hand as we walked out of the hospital. Before we knew it, we were bombarded by poparazzi.

"Ross Ross! Is your girlfriend ok?" Someone asked. "Yeah, yeah!" Another said. "What happened?" Another one said. "She got into a car crash." I lied. "Is she ok?!" The first one repeated. "N-no.." I said. "Well?" The third one asked. "She's dead!" I shouted, then stormed off with the rest of my family.

"What was that about?" Rocky asked. I shook my head, "It's nothing, just- never mind." I said, then looked out the car window.

The whole ride nobody talked, and when we reached home there was still the same amount of silence, until about a couple hours later when my mother called me.

"Yes?" I asked. "Sarah's funeral is all set. It'll be this Monday." She said sadly. I tried my best to hold back my tears. "At least I'll see her one last time before she's gone forever." I said trying to hold my tears in my clenching my fists. She nodded, then looked down at her feet. "I love you, Mom." I said after a moment of silence.

"I love you too." She said, then walked off.
