Ross POV-

The next day, Sunday, was very boring. I spent most of my time moping around, not wanting tomorrow to come. But then night came, and I enventually went to sleep.

The next day, I got up with a groan. Not one thing wanted me to smile. I sat up from bed, then walked to my closet to get my tuxedo. I slipped it on, tying my tie on tight. I brushed my hair the way She always liked it, then put on a pair of dressy shoes, something I'm not used to.

I trotted down the steps and joined my family in the living room.

"You have the dress, right?" Rydel asked sadly. I shook my head, "I forgot, be right back." I replied, then sprinted up the stairs.

My family planned to take the dress Sarah wore to the cookout and put it in her grave. I always loved that dress, and I knew it would mean something to her if we put it in her coffin.

I folded it, then walked it carefully down the stairs and into the car.

The whole way to the graveyard nobody said a word. I kept my eyes on the dress, and traced my fingers along the hibiscus flowers imprinted on it. I pictured my girlfriend in it, but then shook away the horrid memory of the night she did wear it, and everything went wrong.

We finally made it, and we all stepped out of the car. We walked to wear the coffin was positioned, which was covered in roses, and I put the dress on top of it. I smirked a bit, then walked to the seats that were set up.

The ceremony started and I was soon up to speak. I didn't plan anything, I never do. All I know is I'm going to break down.

I stood up as they called my name, then started to speak:

"Hi, I'm Ross. Sarah's boyfriend," I started with that. Not too bad.

"There are so many things about this beautiful girl I can talk about, but what really matters is what she did for the people around us. She gave us respect, helped us, and most of all, loved us,"

Tears brimmed my eyes as I continued.

"I didn't know that this day would come when she was only 17 years old. I didn't even know this could happen to a wonderful person like her. I just wish that the people who did this, realized what they did to the people who surrounded Sarah."

I looked at the crowd, and saw Kendyll sitting in one of the seats.

"That's all I have to say. I love you, Sarah." I finished, then walked back to my seat as everyone clapped and cried.

Soon everyone left, but I stayed before they placed her coffin in the ground. "Well well." A voice said. I turned and saw Kendyll approaching me. "Leave me alone." I spat as I turned back around. "Hey, I'm not hurting anyone anymore." She said defensively. "Yeah, well you got the one you wanted." I said. "Yes, yes. And now my job is done." She said with an evil smirk, then walked off to her car.

I slammed my fist against the coffin door, and laid my forehead on it too.

"Don't worry," I whispered, "I'll join you in a couple years."

I patted the coffin and kissed it, before I walked away from it, forever.
