A Change Of Heart...

It's the year 2054 and life's so much more simple now.

For the last 20 or so years everyones lives have been predetermined to their future. When new babies are born they are noted on everything and given a locket (There Guide) for their parents to keep. When the child turns 18, they have this special ceremony, where they are given their locket (Guide) to keep with them for the rest of their lives.

See this locket is special. It is basically a key to your other half. When you turn 18 it's like the age of love, all your hormones have fully kicked in and it's time to find that one person who is your missing other. The only thing is... You literally have to find this person. If they're over the other side of the world, then that's where you go. The only thing that helps you is The Gide. It lights up, the closer you get to that person.

Then it's basically the whole... 'Live your life with them. Grow old and happy crap.' But it's the law on love. Yeah, you heard right. There's been too many deaths over love and future, so the 'Special Enforcement' set some new rules. To be honest, I can't judge, since this new law came about, no one has died because of love. Who knew that the law would actually help people this time.

I'm turning 18 next Saturday... And god help me... This is going to be something big... I can feel it.

Hey Everybody.

Just wanted to say this is my first time writing a book that's not a Fan-Fiction so I hope you like it.

The chapters aren't going to be really long chapters, but there are going to be more smaller, better quality, chapters.
