~~ That Night ~~

All of us sat around a circle table with Zeke next to me on my right then his mum, Liz, to my left. Next to Liz was Arthur then Nate and Ray. Then some of Zeke's family directly opposite to me. Finch and Seth were next, sat opposite Ray and Nate then Zeke's Aunt and Uncle. The table couldn't have been anymore full. Space was an issue at this point, and for me being claustrophobic, that wasn't helping me at all.

Throughout ordering the meal, I was getting asked questions about my life and how we met. Then someone asked about my trip, before I met Zeke and I froze. I told them all everything that happened but left out Nate's name and how I feel- felt! How I felt for him. After I finished our food came. It was delicious but everything was really awkward. I noticed that Nate kept looking over. I smiled in reply, because I wasn't going to be a bitch to him... I mean, that's not like me. But then I saw Seth throw a glare to Nate. He responded by looking back down at his food.

By the time we had finished our food, which was gorgeous by the way, i had practically told everyone about my life. I wasn't too bothered because I knew that if I had left something out, someone was going to blurt it out sooner or later anyways. Most probably my mum... Getting all my old photos out. Urgh, gosh... Embarrassing much.

"Dessert anyone?" Liz asked the table of crowded people.

There was a wave of maybe's and some yes'. I don't think I could stomach anymore.

"Zeke? Hunnie?" I assumed that was to me too.

"I don't know. I'd get a sundae but I'm not sure if I'd finish it." Zeke said scanning the menu again.

"Gen will share it with you. Won't you?" She said more than asked.

"Sure why not." I said.

Zeke leaned into me so his mouth was by my ear. "You don't have to you know." He whispered.

"But I kind of want some now." I laughed in a whisper.

"I didn't say you could have any though... Sorry." He joked back.

"Oh, well should I tell your mum you said that?" I threatened. He looked back at me, raising an eyebrow. "Liz, Zek-" he cut me of by putting his hand over my mouth and pulling me towards him.

"Shut it. Okay you can have some. You know my mum will have a go! You win." I laughed into his hand which he then moved and joined in.

Looking around the table, everyone was in their own little conversations. Except Nate, who gave me a look. He looked disheartened. Like someone had just killed a puppy in front of him. And then there was Seth, who was on his phone. He was too polite to do something like that. Something was wrong. Then Nate got his phone out and they both excused themselves from the table. Strange... Very strange. I don't know what to do about Nate... I need to talk to him, but he always seems to be around people. Then when he isn't, Seth seems to just appear at the most inconvenient moment.

I got caught out of my train of thoughts when I felt a hand on my shoulder.

"You okay Gen?" Zeke asked me.

"Y-yeah... J-just... Whoa I get first dibs!" I changed the subject and we fought over the ice cream like 5 year old children.

"Gen?" I turned to Zeke when he spooned ice cream onto my face.

"Zeke!!" I called. "The hell?!" I said laughing as Nate and Seth returned to the table, but I was to involved with wondering how to get Zeke back to notice.
