~~Hectic Days~~

Bliss. Bliss is the only word of that can explain how I am feeling right now. Lying in bed, the covers gently draping over our shoulders. I was cuddling up to Nate. His arm was around my bare waist, his chest under my head, like a pillow. I heard him stir so I decided to let him know I was up too.

"Morning." I smiled.

"Morning, beautiful." He kissed my forehead and yawned.

"I'll go make breakfa-" as I was about to get up he pulled me back down.

"Nope. I'm not hungry... Not yet." He said.

"Besides the point. We need to get up and decide what were going to d-" he cut me short and kissed me. Pulling me on top of him.

"Nate." I pulled back.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you too, Nate." I smiled and kissed him again.

Grabbing hold of Nate's shirt which had been thrown on the floor I put it over my bare body and stood at the side of the bed. Turning back around to Nate I saw he was staring at me.

"What?" I asked.

"You are beautiful. You know that?" He asked sitting up.

"I do now." I threw some boxers, from out of his draw, to his face. "Now get up." I smiled a cheeky smile.

I started to gather some clothes together. In the end I have up and just put some leggings on, still wearing Nate's tee.

We headed downstairs. Well, I was walking down, but Nate decided to run past me and pick me up on the way. Carrying me into the living room he threw me onto the couch.

"Nate!" I laughed as he tickled me.

"Good morning." Jeremy said, startling us both. He lowered his glasses as I sat up in the couch. "Don't stop on my account, I'm going out to get a paper." He smiled and kissed my head. "Stay safe and didn't leave!" He glared at Nate.

"Would I really leave?!" Nate, rhetorically obviously... But I answered.

"Yes. So I will make sure he won't." He fake gasped and I giggled. Leaving us alone we decided to make breakfast.

👣...👣...👣

We were dressed for the day and watching TV when Jeremy came running into the house.

"GUYS! Go!" He was red in the face and hadn't got a paper.

"What? Is this a joke?" Nate asked.

"Do I look like I am joking Nate?!" He rushed us upstairs.

We had already packed a get-away bag, so we just out our shoes on and grabbed a few extra things.

"There is your car, down the road, at the back of the house." Jeremy said in between breath.

"Through the back?" I asked.

"I'll show you the way." Nate told me as he pushed me out of the door.

"Wait!" I shouted. I ran back in and kissed Jeremy's forehead. "Thank-you."

Nate then did the same. But said "Love you Dad." Jeremy said love you too and then we rushed out of the back door.

We were too late. Helicopters were circling the house. Police cars were heard for miles around. Surrounding the house. We were too late.

"Nate, were surrounded." I panicked.

"Were going to be fine. Just trust me." And I did. With my life... Literally, right now... Bad joke.

We ran down the bottom of the guardian and we could see a fence. It was a small white picket fence. Like ones I saw in the movies. Cute little white picket fence. We ran as fast as our feet could carry us. Helicopters swarming above our heads. Spotlights on us all the time. Searching and searching. One spotted us.

"Nate!" I shouted. He was a bit ahead of me.

I tried to keep up, but I don't, and I repeat for future purposes, do not... In anyway shape or form, do running. I use to get out of doing it in school because I hated it. This is like Carla getting me back for not doing it. Oh shit.

"Come on. It's not far now." He slowed a bit, but it told him to keep going so he could get the car started. Next minuet there was a big flash of light over us.

"Nate! They saw us!" I shouted.

Then he realised and ran faster. And so did I. "Fuck! You! Karma!" I shouted as I ran even more than before, running... I wouldn't exactly call it running. More like a penguin trying to run... It's not pretty.

Cars were seen coming closer. I could see the car but there were people gaining us. They had guns. Like actual guns. Not even stun guns. Like proper handguns with bullets in them, aiming at us! I was really freaking out now.
