"Nate..." I muttered under my breath.
"Gen? You okay?" Zeke asked me, worry struck his face.
"Urm... Yeah. F-fine... Just f-feeling a little light headed, that's all." I lied, assuming he didn't hear me.
"Sure?..." I nodded. "Good. Thought I'd lost you there." He joked then continued. "So this is young Nathaniel." He said.
"Nathaniel?" I repeated smirking.
"It's not... He's joking..." Nate blushed.
"We know. It's just Nate. But I need something to shout at you when I'm mad so Nathaniel will do!" Zeke smiled and turned back to his other friends.
I looked up and our gaze met instantly. Those perfect brown eyes that I had been trying to get rid of had tripped me up. I thought I did it. I thought I had forgotten about him.
"N-nice to meet you." I said trying to look away.
"Yeah... Nice to meet you too." Nate answered as awkward as I did.
"NATE!" Ray and Seth shouted as they tackled Nate to the floor.
"Guys! Chill!" He laughed as he got himself up and sitting down.

After we drank through the awkwardness, Zeke thought it'd be a good idea to go back to his. He said that I could start getting myself at home whilst the boys played in his room. (Most probably Xbox)
👣...👣...👣
"Okay, so we will be in my room if you need anything." He told me as he started to walk to the boys.
"Zeke..." I paused as he turned around. "Thank you... For being so welcoming." I smiled a little smile.
"It's my pleasure." He smiled back then continued back to his room.
I collapsed onto my bed and looked through my rucksack. Inside was everything I needed for about a week or two. I was emptying the contents of my duffle bag into the draw beside my bed when I heard my door creek open.
"Zeke I-" It was not Zeke.
"Hey." It was Nate. Stood leaning on the doorframe.
"Um... Hey." I replied.
"So... You f-found him then." I assume he was taking about Zeke.
"Yeah. How are you going with yours?" I asked him.
"I- I um... I gave up." He lowered his head.
"You what? When?" I asked.
"A day or so after you left the garage." He admitted.
"Why?" He then took a few steps closer to me.
"Because of... of... you." He said grabbing my hands.
"Nate I-" I got cut off by the door opening again. We jumped apart and Zeke opened the door in mid conversation.
"And that happened to- Oh hey, are you coming back?" He asked smiling.
"Yeah, Just saying hey to Gen." He lied. Following Zeke out, he turned back and smiled at me. I just froze.
I didn't return the smile, not because I was ignoring him, but because I couldn't fucking move! The door closed and my body relaxed. I, once again, collapsed onto my bed and pulled a pillow from under my head and put it over my face. What. The. Hell. I have to go to dinner tonight with Zeke, His parents and his friends. This is going to be so much fun.
👣...👣...👣
"Zeke? Gen? You both ready?" I heard Arthur call.
"We're coming!" Zeke shouted back.
I heard him knock at my door and walk in with his hand over his face. "You can look you know." I giggled.
"You look stunning!" He said with a cheesy smile on his face.
I wasn't a big 'Girly dress Up' girl. So I was wearing my black skinnies with a navy blue shirt (with white birds coving it) that was cut out at the back. I slipped on my studded navy blue heel boots.
Zeke, looking as dashing as ever, was wearing a light-to-dark dip dye shirt with a pair of skinny jeans and a pair of black Vans.
"Why thank-you." I smiled and took hold of his outstretched hand.
We got told that there would be us four, Seth, Ray, Finch and Nash, then some other members of Zeke's family and that they would meet us there.
👣...👣...👣
We reached a very classy restaurant and walked in. Following a waiter to our table I already saw that they boys were there. They stood to great us as some of Zeke's family showed up.
"Zeke! Gen!" Finch, Ray and Seth said as they hugged us both. Nate followed behind.
"And how are you?" Seth said hugging me.
"I'm alright... Bit scared but okay." I said smiling as he let go.
"Why are you scared?" He asked quietly because Zeke was behind us talking to Nate, Ray and Finch.
"Because I haven't met any of Zeke's family and I don't want them to hate me." I admitted.
"Don't be stupid Gen." I know I only met Seth a few hours ago, but I trust him already.
"Hey." Nate said as he walked up to is.
"Um... Hey Nate." I said. His hands snaked around my waist as he hugged me.
I hugged back awkwardly then pulled away as I heard my name.
"Gen. This is Martha and Mike. Zeke's Uncle and Aunt." I shook both of their hands and introduced myself.
"I'm Gen. Its a pleasure to meet you." I politely said as Zeke appeared and hugged me from behind.
"Aunt, Uncle. Thank-you for coming." He let go of me and hugged them both.
After that I got introduced to the rest of his family. I needed some air so I told Zeke that I was going outside for a few minuets.
"Gen?" I turned to see Nate.
"What're you doing out here?" I asked.
"Could ask you the same thing." He said as he joined me by leaning on the wall.
"I j-just needed some air." I said, my mind replaying what he had told me before.
"Gen... I-" Nate was cut off by Seth.
"Guys? You coming in." He said flashing a quick 'look' at Nate.
"Yeah... You okay?" I looked at them both.
"Fine. We'll see you in there." Seth said, blocking Nate's way through.
I carried on walking in. Wondering what they were talking about. Seth looked pissed off at Nate, but why? Between all the guys, them two were the closest. You could easily tell that, and Zeke told me they were. Always have been, known each other since they can remember. But saying that, I guess it's easier to be pissed at someone that you are that close too. Like myself and Dyl to be honest.
