Getting everything ready for tonight is hard work. We've had a lot of help though which is great. My cousins have showed up along with everyone else in my family. Other than my mum and dad who only had me, everyone else had like 3 or more kids so, yeah, its fair to say I have a quite a big family.

So I was introducing Freya and Haley to my cousins and they were really hitting it off. That well that we decided that myself, Freya, Haley, Scarlett and Eva are going to buy our dresses for tonight. Maybe its late notice but still It'll still be fun and at lest we don't have to decorate the back yard anymore.

We walked around the shops before I saw something that caught my attention. I rushed over to the shop and by luck we all chose something that we all loved. No one showed anyone else what we had gotten because we all rushed to the changing rooms and tried them on.

"DONE!" Freya and Eva shouted.

"HERE HERE!" Scarlett answered.

"Make that four of us." Haley called out.

"Me too." I lastly answered.

Walking out to everyone, we all looked at each other and gasped. In a good way obviously. Freya was wearing a short, one strapped, pink dress with black pattern up her left side. Haley had on a short black dress with the top half covered in silver sequins. Eva modelled a short, strapless, red dress with a black belt that hung just below her ribs. Scarlett paraded around in a short, puffy purple dress which faded to black the closer it got to the bottom. Myself, I was dressed in a short sky blue dress, that suited my eyes perfectly. It had splashes of dark blue paint surrounding the bottom half and I was in love with it.

"Holy hell, Gen!" Haley said.

"Thought you didn't like dresses?" Scarlett smiled.

"Same here, but I love this!" I was as shocked as they were.

"You look gorgeous Gen!" Freya said.

"You do! Shoes?" Eva suggested. We all agreed then headed out to find shoes.

So I don't really wear dresses so this is big for me. I decided to be me and wear a pair of dark blue Doc Martens that matched the splatters on my dress. Everyone else went for heels, but I can't walk in them. Okay, I can walk in them... but I fall after like 2 steps.

After spending hours in shops we headed back to mine. I drove obviously, with my new car and all. Getting back to my house laughing because Freya nearly fell over in the shop in her hells. Walking in to the black yard the sight was outstanding.

Blue and white fairy lights trailed around the fence of the yard, there was a platform at the bottom end of the yard for some musicians that my dad booked, our pond had beautiful white lilies floating around it was amazing. But no one was there, I think everyone was inside so we crept in through the back.

We found everyone talking and saying goodbye. I heard someone say 'We'll I'm going to go and get prepared for tonight. Bye everyone.' I think that was my aunt and uncle. most of my family were staying with us, because we have a spare room in our house. My nan and granddad live round the corner so that's not too bad, but my aunt and uncle live about an hour or two away, so we said that they could stay with us. Scarlett and Eva would stay with me so we could have a 'girly night' to get ready, as my mum put it.
