~~Leaving~~

Today was the day. The day I was going on my 'Life Journey'... Oh I am so excited. I don't think I could be any more excited. (Sensing my sarcasm yet)...

I had packed my suitcase and that was already in the car. Luckily for me, I basically lived in skinny jeans, T-shirts and converse so that's basically what I packed. My rucksack though, contained more personal things like: A picture of myself and Dylan, key-chain from when my mum dad and I went to Disney World, spray, The Fault In Our Stars book (because I absolutely love it), note pad, my sketch book and some pencils. Just things to keep me busy... oh along with my camera and 2 pairs of headphones.

"Gen? Ready?" My Mum called.

"Just... A... Minuet..." I called back. I slung my rucksack over my shoulder and grabbed my phone.

Reaching the front door I could see my mum and dad talking to someone I didn't know who, probably Mrs. Bradbury, she lives next door, known her since I was little. Says she is some what of a psychic or something. She's a very nice lady. Old but still able to get her work done, light grey but with a hint of colour still in her hair, very generous.

"Morning, mum, dad... And hello Mrs. Bradbury!" I chimed.

"Good morning, lovely. Heard you were leaving today so I thought I would come and with you luck." She hugged me.

"Aha, thank-you. It means a lot." Pulling me to one side she put something in my hand but then closed my hand and stood holding it.

"This... In here..." she shook my hand. "Is a luck charm. I know, don't even say it, I don't believe- but I'm giving it to you." She smiled.

"But-" she cut me off.

"No buts young lady! Now. You will go and find that perfect lad of yours then bring him back here so I can meet him!" She was always like this. Said it to me when I was younger too.

"Thank-you, so so much." She smiled and walked back to the car with me.

"Oh and remember... Just because it has to be doesn't make it true. Remember the luck charm if you're ever in a tough time." I looked down towards the charm. It was a sky blue colour with what looked like an eye in the middle. Think it's supposed to protect you or something... It's really beautiful. I saw the clasp and hooked it onto my necklace.

"Now, go so you can get back quicker!" My mum smiled, but a tear fell from her face.

"Oh she'll be alright. Just you go and have fun... Not too much fun." He joked with me.

"I will. Dad look after mum for me." I acted like I was captain.

"I will do my best." He said hugging me and kissing my forehead.

"Wait! Wait!" I turned to see Dylan and Freya.

They both jumped on me like I was a piece of meat. "What the hell... aha... Are you two doing?"

"Came to say goodbye." Freya answered.

"Apparently I have a dentist-" she was cut off by Dyl.

"And I have a doctors." Dylan laughed.

"God, how will I cope without you two, hey!" I embraced them both. Freya was nearly crying when I stopped hugging her and Dyl picked me up. Then lowered me back down and kissed my forehead.

"Stupid for life?" He asked.

"Stupid for life." I replied. We did it when we were kids. Whenever we were going a way (like on holiday for a week) we would say this as a promise that we would come back. We haven't said it in... About 5 years... Wow...

I opened the door to my beautiful car. Male car. And placed my rucksack on the passengers seat. I closed the door, but opened the window so I could say goodbye to everyone.

"Bye guys. Love you all!" I shouted as I reversed.

"Love you Hunnie." My mum shouted.

"And be safe!" My dad added.

"Remember what I said." Mrs. Bradbury called.

"Stupid for life." Dyl laughed making a heart with his hands.

"Love you, Boo!" Freya said, also making a heart with Dyl.

That was it. I drove off, down our street. Not even knowing where the hell I was going. I only knew that he will be doing the same thing as me. Going in the same direction. Every turn I decided to make, ever turn he decides to make, will lead us together... Let's just hope I didn't screw this up.

Driving down the beautiful country lanes. Stereotypical green grass, blue sky, Daisy's and Sunflowers in symmetrical rows creating the perfect picture. I opened the window and the smell of fresh air hit my face. Turning on the radio I searched the stations until I found one with decent music on it.

'Get ready for Give Me Love by Ed Sheeran'

The guy on the radio said, very enthusiastically can I just add. I love his song, one of my favourites.

'Give me love like her,

Cause' lately I've been waking up alone,

Paint splattered teardrops on my shirt,

Told you I'd let them go.

And maybe I'll fight my corner,

Maybe tonight I'll call ya,

After my blood turns into alcohol,

No, I just wanna hold ya.

Give a little time to me or burn this out,

We'll play hide and seek to turn this around,

All I want is the taste that your lips allow,

My my my my, oh give me love,

My my my my, oh give me love,

My my my my, oh give me love,

My my my my, give me love.

I decided to pull over at the side of the road to take some pictures. I parked me car out of the way (Not like anyone was around anyways) then got my camera from my bag. Snapping shots of the gorgeous view, I sat on the grass and decided to draw.

I am not the best person for drawing but, when I put my mind to it... (not being vain or anything) but it kind.. turns out... somewhat good. I didn't take Art or Artistic Studies in school... its always been a sort of hobby to draw. whenever I'm bored or stressed, I just draw and I loose myself.

With the music still blasting in the car I checked my phone and realised that I had been sat here for about an hour.

"Oh god." I jumped back in the car, collecting my things with me, then continuing my drive to wherever the hell I was going.
