~~Tears~~

"Nate? What is it?!" I asked as I ran in.

"It's Mrs. Bradbury..." He was panicking leaning over her.

"What?!" Kris said as he ran over to her.

"She's not responding..." Nate cried for help.

"Gen! Go call 911!" Kris said.

I couldn't move. She couldn't be dead... She couldn't be...

"GEN!" He shouted at me, I still didn't move.

"I'll do it. Wait here." Nate said putting I is hand on my shoulder.

"No no no! Please, god. No no no..." Kris was crying trying to wake Avery.

"K-kris..." A faint weak voice whispered.

"Nan?!" Kris let out a sad laughed. "Thought we'd lost you..." He smiled kissing her forehead.

"Imogen... Hunnie... Did you two find Nate?" She weakly asked.

"W-we did... He's with us." I could just get out as Nate came back in.

"The ambulance is on it's way." Nate said walking back in.

"N-Nate... Sweetie..." She smiled.

"Mrs. Bradbury." Nate smiled.

"Come here you three." We sat around her.

"Kristofferson. I love you so so much. You've always been more like a son to me than a grandson and I couldn't ask for anything more from you." She smiled and kissed his forehead.

"I love you to Nan." He smiled, but the pain was unbearable.

"Your parents would be so proud if they could see you now." I had completely forgot that his parents died in a crash about 8 years ago. That's why him and Avery were so damn close.

"Imogen. I knew that you would find him. I told you to promise me you would fight for this and you have. Love you."

"Love you too." I smiled.

"Nate. I know I haven't known you as long as I've known these two... But your an amazing boy and you promise me to keep my little Genny safe. Remember what I told you." She smiled at him and a tear escaped from Nate's eye.

"I will. Always." He just managed.

"Kris..." She said regaining his attention.

"Yes.." He was strait by her side again.

"Keep these, and yourself safe. Be good and I'll tell your mother and father you love them so much." She said.

"But your going to be okay, you're not leaving yet nan!" He said, like it was a matter of fact.

"No... Sweetie. This is it..." A tear rolled down her pale face.

"No it's not! Were going to get you to the hospital and your going to be fine." Nate added.

"Look, it's time. I know. I can feel it. Remember everything I've told you three. And just- just be safe okay." She faintly told us.

"Promise." We all said at the same time.

"I l-love you..." And with that her eyes closed.

Her beautiful, fragile, pale body lying there. Nothing else could be done. She was gone. Kristofferson was by her, on his knees, side crying and Nate was in his own world looking at her. I couldn't be in there anymore. I ran out.

"Gen!" Nate shouted me but I didn't turn back.

I ran downstairs and opened the front door. I made it to the steps and collapsed. I fell to the floor and sat crying into my hands. Curled up in a ball of my own tears, a shield of pain suffocated me. I couldn't breath without my throat feeling like it was on fire.

"Gen?..." Nate faintly said as he came and sat by me. He pulled me close to him and I cried into his chest.

"S-she's gone..." I cried.

"Shhhhhh... I know... It's going to be okay. Everything is going to be okay..." He cooed me.

"How do you know that?!" I near shouted.

"Because I have you, and you have me! Neither myself or Kris is ever going to let anything bad happen to you!" He said holding me closer to him.

He left small kisses along my forehead making his way down to my lips. Setting a gentle kiss on my puffy cheeks the ambulance arrived.

"It's too late!" I shouted when one of the, jumped out.

They ran in and upstairs. I heard Kris swear a but then a few minuets later they brought out a body bag on a stretcher, with Avery in. Behind them was Kristofferson.

"Kris!" I ran to him. He knew because his arms snaked around me and held me tight.

"We need to get you two out of here, before anyone notices you." He said after a while.

We got in his car and began driving. The song Skinny Love by Birdy playing quietly through the speakers.

'And I told you to be patient,

And I told you to be fine,

And I told you to be balanced,

And I told you to be kind.

And in the morning I'll be with you,

But it will be a different kind,

Cause I'll be holding all the tickets,

And you'll be holding all the fines.

Come on skinny love what happened here,

Suckle on the hope in light brasseries,

My my my, my my my, my-my my my,

Sullen load is full, so slow on the split.

And I told you to be patient,

And I told you to be fine,

And I told you to be balanced,

And I told you to be kind.

And now all your love is wasted,

Then who the hell was I,

Cause now I'm breaking at the birches,

At the end of all your lies.

Who will love you?

Who will fight?

Who will fall, far behind?'
