~~Church Meeting~~

Waking up worried as hell. It's not like talking to younger kids... It's people that are only a few months or so younger than me. And I have to tell them what to expect... Oh god help me.

Walking out of the shower I blow dried my hair straitened it then put my clothes on. Because it wasn't trying to make an impression I just slipped on my light blue skinny jeans and threw on a white t-shirt that had 'Music's Made In My Heart' written on it.

Taking my rucksack with me I left the hotel and started walking through the village, up to the church.

👣...👣...👣

From the doors I could hear laughing and talking then someone tapped me on the shoulder.

"Ready?" I turned to see Priest Richards behind me.

"I think so." He could tell I was nervous.

"You will be fine. Come one in." He led the way and spoke to everyone that was in there. "Good morning you beautifully hormonal teens." He joked.

"That means you girls." One of boys laughed.

"Oh ha ha." One of the girls answered sarcastically.

"Calm it. Anyway we have a special visitor today. Her names Imogen." He said gesturing to me.

"Hey Imogen." One of the girls said to me.

"Love your t-shirt." Another said to me.

"Hey, and thanks." I smiled and joined Priest Richards at the front of the church.

He began with everyone saying their names and ages ect... Then he asked how long they have until they get there necklaces and asked how they felt about it.

"So any questions for Imogen?" He asked them all.

"I do." I think her name was Mandy. "How long have you been on the hunt?" She asked leaning forward.

"For about a month... Give or take a few days." I answered honestly.

"Doesn't it get boring?" A boy, James I think, asked.

"Not really. See, I love the little towns and villages to stay in, the driving... Yes." I said.

"Anyone else?" Priest Richards asked them.

"Me?" A girl asked. I nodded. "What happens if you meet... Him... And he's ugly?" She twirled her hair and chewed her gum as she asked, making me giggle.

"Well... I haven't really thought about it. You kind of have to be with them. You didn't get a choice." I answered her.

"Well, I hope whoever I end up with. He better be fit. And rich..." She cockily said.

We kept on asking questions like that. I told them how I felt about it and had a little debate on wether there was a point in doing it or not. Then, Cameron asked his question...

"So, what appened' to you so far?" He asked which made everyone lean in to listen.

"Um... Not really much..." I said shyly.

"Yeh, sure... Meet anyone new?" I gulped. "Ima take that as a yeah then."

"Okay I did... But I kept driving and so did he." I said.

"He?" Amber asked? "What was his name? How did you meet him? Was he fit?"

"Amber!" Priest Richards called.

"It's fine. Yes his name is Nate. I met him in a café I stopped off at." I tried to avoid the last part of her question ball.

"And was he fit? Did you like him?" She asked smirking.

"He was okay... I guess... Really nice... But I'm out looking for whoever belongs to this." I held up my necklace and the girls 'wowed' it.

"That's beautiful." Mandy said gasping.

The girls took a look at the necklace. Saying how they couldn't wait to get one. Many and whoever she was sat with, Fia or something like that, they were turning 18 in 3 months, whereas Amber was 18 in just under a week. I spoke to the boys too. Saying good luck to them all as they departed I got called behind.

"Wait!" Someone shouted. It was Priest Richards.

"So that went better than I expected." I laughed.

"You did amazingly." He smiled. "So this Nate?" He asked.

"Can we not take about him." I rudely said. "Sorry." Apologising I began to leave.

"Trying to forget are we?" He smiled.

"Yeah, leaving that- him... Behind me. Focusing on my future." I told him.

"Good luck with that." He said mysteriously then left.

I walked around for a while then saw a poster of a shop window.

'BIG BANG VILLAGE FESTIVAL! DONT MISS IT! Saturday 1st November 2053'

"Big Festival that is." A woman told me. "Must be new here. I'm Lady Lux." She held out her hand.

"Lovely to meet you Lady Lux. I'm Imogen." I shook her hand.

"You staying around for the festival?" She asked.

"Think I just might. " I smiled to her.

She was very pretty. Looked about early 20's... 23 maybe. Wearing a pink cotton dress that she held in one hand so it wouldn't touch the ground. Crisp white, lace frills covered the majority of her baby pink dress.

It was beautiful weather round here. Sunny with slight wind. Not too windy however. She had one of those smiles that looked like she had seen a lot and knew what to do if you needed any help. Brown hair, curled at the bottom, deep brown eyes to match.

"Well, I will see you there. You and the whole of the town." She laughed.

"See you there Lady Lux." I said kindly.

"You seem like a lovely young lady, please call me Poppy." She smiled and waltzed on down the road.

I may as well stay for a few more days. Can't miss the festival right. I love festivals. Something exciting always happens at a festival.
