~~Goodbye Nate~~

"You look tired." Nate said to me.

"Well, I do apologise for having my head smash against the floor." I joked.

"Do you want me to drive. Maybe you can get some sleep then?" He offered.

I pulled over on the side of the road. "Are you sure?" I asked.

"Your doing this much for me. I feel like I need to do something for you." He smiled and jumped out.

I did the same and got into the passengers side, as he got into the drivers. "Thank-you Nate." I said as I buckled up.

"No problem. I'll wake you if I need anything." He smiled and I nodded.

"Oh and Nate..." He looked over to me. "Don't crash the car." I joked and he playfully hit my arm.

"Just sleep would you." I smiled and sunk into my seat.

👣...👣...👣

Waking up to the sun in my face I stretched and realised that there was a jacket over me. I slung the jacket around my shoulders and saw that the car wasn't moving.

"Nate?" I looked over the drivers seat and he wasn't there but the car was open. "Nate?!" I repeated but louder and with more worry in my voice.

I got out of the car and found him sat on the grass. I walked up to him. "Nate?" I asked.

"Your awake. Come join me." He said then patted the floor.

"Who's jacket is this? Wait... What time is it? No. Where are we?" I threw questions at him.

He laughed. "I will answer whatever questions you want. Just come and sit down." I did as he said and sat with him. "Thought I'd take a break for a while." He said looking forward.

"The questions?" I asked.

"Oh right." he turned to face me. "That's my jacket. It's..." He looked at his phone. "1:32pm. And I have no clue. But its pretty right. I do know that we are about 2 hours from the garage." He said to me.

"Why have I got your jacket?" I asked.

"Do you always ask this many questions?" He laughed then continued. "And because you looked cold." He took of his sunglasses and looked me in the eyes. "Oh and Imogen your Da-" I cut him off.

"Oh SHIT!" I jumped up and ran to the car.

"What?" Nate followed me.

"You said it was 1:32pm right?" I repeated him.

"Well, now its 1:40 but yeah why?" He asked.

"Because I had this agreement with my dad, that he would call everyday at 12." I continued to shuffle around in the car until Nate grabbed my wrists.

"Imogen. Calm down. I was going to say before you cut me off. Your dad phoned and I answered it. I told him everything. I also said you'd call when you woke up." He let go of my wrists and handed me my phone.

I called my dad strait away and told him that I was fine. He said that Nate sounded like an amazing boy after what he did. I told him that I thought so too- What no I don't. I don't like Nate. But he ended the call and told me to be safe.

👣...👣...👣

We continued to drive- well I say we. Nate insisted on driving until we reach the garage then buying petrol to fill up the car. I denied over and over, but he said he would anyway. So we carried on driving. Just talking and some singing... Bad singing mostly but who cares... Obviously we didn't.

👣...👣...👣

About an hour and 20 songs later we arrived at the garage.

"We are here." Nate said pulling up. He got out of the car and walked inside the shop section. A few minuets later he came out with a man. Waving his hand he gestured me to come out. "Imogen... This is my dad." He announced.

"Hello Mr. Grey." I shook his hand.

"Please, Imogen. Call be Jeremy." He smiled and I calmed down.

I smiled and he turned and said something to Nate then turned to me. "It's lovely to meet you. I heard how you helped my boy, Natey here." He scruffy led up Nate's hair. "I just want to thank you." He said as Nate pushed him slightly.

"It's no problem. I enjoyed it. But I owe... Natey ... A thank-you for putting up with me for the past few days." I giggled at me calling him Natey.

"Well, it's been a pleaser meeting you. Let me pay you for hauling Nate out here." He said reaching in his pocket.

"Please, it's no trouble. You don't have to-" he cut me off.

"I insist." I see where Nate gets it now. He handed me the money, then walked away. "Goodbye Imogen." He smiled again.

That just left myself and Nate.

"Okay so I better... Um... Better get going then..." I went to turn away.

"Thank-you Imogen." He said making me turn around.

"It's my pleasure. But thank-you for looking after me." I said hugging him.

Realising what I was doing, he snaked his arms around my waist and hurried his face into my neck. Pulling back, I gave him one last smile and he replied with a saddened face.

"Cheer up natey!" I giggled.

"Oh shut it Genny!" I gasped. "Yeah, I spoke to your dad too." He then giggled.

"Goodbye Nate." I said.

"Don't worry, I'm sure we will talk soon." That made me turn back around.

"Wha-" he'd gone. Like just totally gone... O... Kay... Then...

Getting in the car all I could think of was Nate. His face and voice in my mind. 'I'm sure we will talk soon'

I need to get him out of my mind. Nate is gone. I need to focus on what I'm out here searching my arse off for. Him... Not Nate... But whoever the hell this 'Him' is...
