Jun pic in the media

Jun (Junior) POV

"Junior!" I heard mama voice yell from down the hall. She sounded aggravated as if she had been calling my name for awhile now. I kissed my teeth before squinting my eyes at the bright rays that peeked through the shades. Before i could even sit up my sister stood in the door way with her hand on her hip.

Her name is Jalani she the youngest of us 3. She is currently 13 but had the body of a 20 year old. She had mama curves, brains, and most of all. Her attitude. She had long black hair that flowed down her back. She was dress in a white crop top and cargo pants. Her long hair was in a high ponytail. Big gold hoops dangled from her ears and she had on the wheat tims i got her for her birthday.

"Jun mama said ya betta hurry up and get ready for school." she said all sassy. I slowly sat up and threw my legs over the side of the bed. I held my head in my hands and rubbed my hand down my face. Jalani was still there leaning against the wall with her arms crossed.

I huffed and stood up taking off my shirt and throwing it in her face. She groaned and hit me with it making me chuckle. "Ima be down in a few" i said basically closing her in the door. She hit the door and yelled for me to hurry up. I took my shower and finished up all my hygiene stuff.

I was now dressed in a plaid buttom up shirt with some blue jeans and all black airforce 1's. I had my diamond stud in and the chain my dad left behind. I was in the mirror of the bathroom brushing my hair when there was a knock on the door.

"Junior! Hurry up so I can take my shower. I swear yall kids act like yall the only two that live here." mama spat banging on the door. We lived in a small two bedroom house. We had only one bathroom and mama slept in the living room while me and Lani took the rooms.

Some nights I let mama sleep in my room. I opened the bathroom door to see mama with her towel, bar of soap, and toothbrush. You could see the bags under her red tired eyes. That replaced the sparkle that use to be in her eyes when we were all younger. I looked at her with concern and moved out her way.

I hated how tired mama was, she worked 3 jobs that paid minimum wage just to pay off the rent. Sometime she would pay it half at a time so she could buy the necessities for Lani and I. Still wasn't enough to get everything we needed. I even tried getting a job now that i was old enought but mama wouldn't have it.

Stay in school. She says, mama got this don't worry. Things will get better. She says. I sighed as me and Jalani walked on the sidewalk on our way to school. I saw Jalani turn to me on the corner of my eye. "Wussup wit you Jun? Ya been moppin' since we left the house." she said with her eyes on me as we continued to walk.

We stopped by my man Bryson crib. I shook my head as we stood by the fence waiting on Bryson to come out. She looked at me ready to say something but Bryson came jogging out, pulling up his pants. He wore a miami heat snapback with a black and red stripped shirt. He had on black pants with the same shoes I had on.

He dapped me up and looked Lani up and down while biting down on his bottom lip. She blushed shyly and looked off in a different direction. I kissed my teeth before tightening my grip on his hand making him jerk it back. "Damn Jun." he complained rubbing his hand.

I just glared at him, Bryson and me been cool since the 2nd grade but I would kill any nigga over my sister. Everyone knows not to fuck with this one. "Stop being mean Jun" Lani said nudging me before her and Bryson exchanged hugs. I watch his hands to make sure they stayed where they should be.

We started walking from there. I tried to zone out Bryson flirting with Jalani and focus on other things. We walked up to the school yard just in time as the bell rang. Jalani was really smart she was a freshman at my school and had all honor classes. Despite her age she fit in with the high schoolers very well and snatched the eyes of a lot of little knuckle heads.
