*a month or so later*
Amari POV
I felt the bed sink behind me most likely Mariah getting back into bed. I laid with my eyes closed but I was awake. I could feel the warm sunrays kiss my face from the window. Then there were arms wrapped around my body and skin make contact with my face.
I was wrong its Jun. I smiled to myself feeling his lips trail kisses from my cheek to my neck. Then a small bite making my inhale sharply and my eyes popped open. I backhand his forehead making him laugh and roll over on the bed. I sat up rubbing the sleep out my eye "I swear you a damn dog at times" I said hitting him in the face with a pillow.
He grabbed it holding it over his face as he laughed. I rolled my eyes peeling back the covers and getting out the bed. I stretched before making my way to the bathroom passing Mariah on the way. She was on the couch stuffing her mouth with cinnamon toast crunch and watching Disney.
I smiled at her running my hand through her wild mane. I went and did my business before brushing my teeth and washing my face. I looked up from the sink jumping at Jun and Mariah's sudden presence behind me. Goofy grins spread on their faces while my heart beated rapidly. I mugged them before bumping pass them.
"Aha you jumped" Mariah teased plopping down on the bed beside me. I moved my lips mocking her before rolling my eyes. She giggled laying back on her pillow and continued watching some Disney movie. Jun was getting dressed in his new work uniform. Yes my baby got a job!
He worked at the local soul food restaurant in town as a waiter. Its small but its a job, a real and legal job! May i add. I smiled and raised my camera taking a video on instagram him getting dressed. "Look at my baby... Aww he getting ready for work" he sucked his teeth before turning around. I giggled and got on my knees before pulling his arm. He covered his face and grabbed my phone. I quickly covered my natural face while trying to tame my wild bed hair as well.
"Okay Jun stop!! I look ugly" I whined reaching for my phone. He chuckled grabbing both my wrist in one hand. I pouted trying to hold back my smile that threaten to form. "Alright Amari's followers. To all the females this right here.. Is beauty."
He said zooming in on my face. My cheeks heated up as they changed to their rosey tint of red. "All natural. No make up. Not product. All beautiful." I smiled finally getting loose and drapping my arms around his neck. He turned the camera to selfie mode catching us kissing. "Thank you baby" I said reaching for my phone but he pulled away and grabbed my ass.
"And to all the thirsty niggas commenting on her pics and dming her. This right here" he said bringing the camera to my rear and giving it a squeeze. "Is all mine." I rolled my eyes yanking my phone back laughing at him. "Okay that's enough."
He laughed "watch your followers be salty as fuck." he said putting on his shoes. I shook my head "you called my followers thirsty. Now they might unfollow me cause of you" I nudged him.
He shrugged his shoulders before getting up and grabbing his phone. I pouted watching him get ready to leave. He picked up Mariah and gave her a bear hug before pecking her cheek. "See ya later mini me." he said ruffling her hair. He turned to me and I rolled my eyes before dodging under the covers. "Don't even come over here at me" I mumbled.
He sucked his teeth "girl you better kiss me goodbye" he said trying to pull off the sheets. "Tell your boss to give you a kiss" I said once he removed the sheets he straight faced me making me laugh. "You so gay for that" he said before crashing his lips onto mine before I could protest. Of coursed I kissed back despite my little attitude towards him.
He smirked against my lips before chuckling and giving me one last peck. "See you tonight babe" he sung grabbing his jacket to go. I flicked him off making him laugh as he shut the door behind him. An instant pout forming on my face. "What are we gonna do all day?" I asked myself out loud flicking through channels until Mariah laid down beside me.
