ERIC’S POINT OF VIEW

It’s your time to shine Eric my dear! Ito na ang pinakahihintay mong pagkakataon! Ang pinaka--- ARAY!...” I hit Rommie on his head. Nakakaasar kasi.

Hay nako Vic, huwag mong ipagkatiwala si Rain dyan. Napakasadista. Huhuhu.” Rommie ranted.

We are currently at the school’s gymnasium. We are too early for our basketball class. And these three are too early to get me pissed off.

“Tigilan niyo nga ako. Can you just not make this a big deal. Why am I even explaining myself to these retards anyway?

“…tigilan niyo na pagiging exaggerated niyo. Tama na!”

“Awww… sweet naman pala. Hindi naman pala sasaktan Vic. Good boy. You deserve an award. Palakpakan natin si Eric the Great.”

They composed themselves and looked cool again. Hahaha.

I mean, it’s not really a big deal but bro can’t you just be honest with us? We can be good once in a blue moon. Hindi naman nakakabawas ng pagkalalaki ‘yon.” Vic.

“…So, are you feeling something special for my sister then?” Vic continued.

And I am just too scared to take the risk of getting rejected. That is why I just kept the title of being one of her friends who could she rely on. The closest thing to get near her is by just being her friend, hangga’t hinihintay ang tamang oras na makalimot siya.

At the very least, kahit kunwari lang, maging kami.

“Fine. Sige na. I surrender.” There is no reason for me to deny my feelings for her.

“FINALLY. Umamin din! Hallelujah!” Rommie while raising his hands up high.
Again, nagpalakpakan na naman sila with matching yell. Napaka-attention seeker ng mga taong ‘to.

“What’s with this happiness and all?” Vanessa asked. The four girls came back from changing their clothes into basketball jerseys.

“May sinabi lang si Eric---“ Rommie excitedly reported until the hit he got from Vic. He was hit twice this morning. Hahaha.

“Wala, nagtatawag lang kami ng kalapati.” Cedric. Tss. Anong klaseng excuse ‘yon?

The girls looked puzzled.
