Okay, unfortunately I have some bad news. I'm slowing down the updating schedule! I'm thinking of slowing it down to one update every 2-3 days. This might only go on until the 6th though—I have an Music exam then. It will also be less regular from May 22nd till May 27ths—then I have my end of year exams. Just a warning! Anyways, here's the chappie!

I tightened the dress at the back and sighed at my reflection. The dress was a black and white maid outfit—supposedly, the audience we gained yesterday from the modelling voted for couples to take part in a "maid activity". In other words, the women were the maids for the men today.

Surprisingly, the money we gained from yesterday was so large that we could even afford to build a whole house for each separate couple. The couples were expected to live together there for that week.

A knock was audible on the wooden door. I opened it, and greeted a tall, muscular male. He, without saying a word, took my suitcases with one hand and transferred it to the house next door. Barely, I could see the outline of Gajeel who already made himself comfortable. I took one last glance at my room I barely lived in, and made my journey to the house where I would be for a week. Slowly a blush crept up my cheeks as I realised we were literally a married couple—I was going to live with Gajeel!

As the main door opened to the house, I took in a deep breath, accepting my fate. Gajeel came down the staircase which whirled around and around, made of glass. He slid his hand down the banister as he walked, taking in the sight of me in my maid outfit. "That doesn't suit you," Gajeel grunted, brutally honest.

I stared downwards, shielding the bare parts the maid outfit showed. "Well..." I said unsurely, diverting my gaze elsewhere, "I can't change, because this is what the audience voted the women's costumes to look like."

"I know that," Gajeel stated, still staring solely on me. The man who'd taken my suitcase bowed at us and left the house, his footsteps clanging against the marble underneath us. Marble roamed the whole ground floor. "Anyways," Gajeel chuckled, "This is gonna be a fun day, gihee!"

Shuddering, I awkwardly fixed my gaze on his again. "So what's my first task, Gajeel?"

"How about lunch?" He asked, eager for food.

"Erm, Gajeel it's 10am," I said, watching his face fall. "B-but I can give you a snack!" Pointing my fingers out I cried, "Solid script, Iron!"

He quickly gobbled it up and gave a sigh of relief. "Ah, that's tasty," he commented. "Lily!" He called, Panther-Lily flying down the stairs.

"What?" The exceed grumbled, crossing his arms over his small, dark-coloured chest.

"Wanna learn how to read and write with me?" I raised an eyebrow at Gajeel's question—he'd always been the one who'd tease me for my knowledge. Panther-Lily shook his head and walked back upstairs. "Then, Shrimp, you're my tutor for today!"

I gulped back a retort fighting its way from the back of my throat. Gajeel and education just didn't seem to fit! Suddenly realising that I was a maid, I kept my stifling to a minimum by shielding my mouth with both my hands. I nodded at Gajeel, stumbling up the stairs to the room on the right, where my bedroom was.

With the aid of the strong male who helped with my suitcases, it meant my belongings were already placed neatly on the side. Scurrying to the small suitcase, I took out paper, pens and pencils. I heard Gajeel shout for me from the study; not wanting him to wait any longer I sprinted to the direction of the sound.

"Okay," I panted, putting the stationary and paper on the wooden desk. He pulled out a chair next to him, signalling for me to sit. Ripping out a piece of paper from a booklet, I gently put it in a position where Gajeel could see my writing clearly. "So from now on, you're gonna listen to everything I say!" I commanded, though it was an attempt as he didn't seem fazed.

"Eeeeh?" He exclaimed, leaning back on his seat so that he was only balanced by the chair's hind legs. "But you're supposed to be my maid!"

"Not anymore. And furthermore, how can I take orders from someone who doesn't even know the basics of safety?" I replied, looking at him with a straight face.

He didn't seem to understand that I was talking about him. "What do you mean? 'Course I do. You're talkin' about that idiot—Natsu—right? 'Cuz I agree with you on that!" I sighed. This guy had a lot to learn. He ran his hands down his hair as he caught my pouting expression.

"First topic—English!" I told him, scribbling down the date and the title 'It's & its'. I smiled as Gajeel watched me write in awe. "So I can predict you know your English alphabet?" I asked him, making sure I wasn't going too fast with him. "And also basic sentence structures?"

"Obviously," Gajeel replied, leaning his back of his head with his hands.

"Good. Read this out." I pointed to a sentence I'd just written. The letters, I made sure, were big and clear, unlike swirly letters of how I'd usually write. They also weren't joined up. It felt weird to write in a style I hadn't used in years.

Gajeel leant forwards in his seat, shadowing over the piece of paper as if it were his next target. I rolled my eyes; surely he could read without having to touch the paper with his nose? Unless he had an eye problem, which was unlikely since he was a dragon-slayer.

"F-fair-fairy t-tail is the b-best g-guild ev-ever," he smirked when he finished the sentence. "Am I right, or am I right?"

Gajeel seemed so pleased with the ability of reading simple sentences I decided to not correct his mistake of pronunciation. "Yup, you're right!" I told him, patting his back. "Next I'm going to put either 'its' or 'it's' in a sentence, and you're task is to tell me what the difference is."

He eyed me as I wrote down 3 examples. Giving it to him, he immediately narrowed his eyes at the sentences, and leant so forwards his nose touched the paper again. "I dunno," he exclaimed furiously, now looking like a cute cat with his pouting.

"'It's' is basically 'it is' but in a shorter way. 'Its' shows possession. Understand?" I grinned when he nodded his head. Finally we were getting somewhere. "Here," I handed him another 3 examples. "Underline the sentences which uses it correctly."

It seemed as if he was taking forever, but it seemed all worth it when he gave it back to me, smirking confidently. I scrolled my eyes over his answers and shook my head. "All wrong, Gajeel." I muttered to myself, "And I thought you got it."

Gajeel's hair hung over his eyes. "Hey, it's fine," I said, trying to reassure him. "Don't give up. I believe in you."

In response, the male looked up into the ceiling, "Yeah, I'm not gonna give up! English won't beat me!"

I laughed at his determination, writing down more sentences for the lesson.
