Some of you may notice I changed the blurb in the story. I'm afraid Stingyu and Rogue+Kagura won't be included. Mavis and Zeref will be incredibly vague, too. I guess because fans ship them; there aren't actually many moments in the anime. (I don't read the manga). HOWEVER the next book I'm planning, about their lives in High School, will include these ships.
Adding on, I need some help for my new Fairy Tail book! If you have any ideas who should play certain characters (e.g. I think Gigi Hadid should play Lucy Heartfilia), please comment!

I scolded myself as soon as I stepped out of the house Laxus and I shared, wrapping my hands around my arms as the cold fought against me. As host, it was expected of me to dress appropriately, and I still needed to maintain the image I'd developed ever since I was a model.
"Why would you wear a short-sleeved dress on this windy day?" Laxus grumbled, no pity on his face when he watched me shiver. We'd been going out for a few days now, ever since he told me he couldn't bear seeing me with Zach and Jonah. At first, he'd blamed it on the fact he was protecting his guild mate when I teased him about it. But who could hide the jealousy on his expression? He'd given in after that.
The face he held showed no remorse - even to his girlfriend. I watched him, giving a pout to show I expected something. He quickly caught on a few moments later, looking away as he threw me his jacket. "How gentlemanly of you, Laxus," I smiled, coating myself in his large coat. It wasn't like he wore it anyways - he just made it hang on his shoulder.
Although the sleeves were too long, and the whole coat itself dragged onto the floor, I couldn't help but have a feeling of gratitude unravelling in myself. It was a thick-layered piece of clothing, which certainly did block out most of the cool air outside.
"Whatever. And why do we always need to be early?" Laxus asked again for the umpteenth time, fed up with having to follow me around everywhere.
"Oh, if you don't enjoy it perhaps it'll be a better idea to ask Zach and Jonah to accompany me," I replied, sending him the most beautiful, pretty and seductive look I could muster. Giggling to myself as he sweat-dropped, I tested out the microphones on the stage, as well as the table in front for people to pay jewels to see the performances.
Mavis and Zeref entered from the left of the stage after everything was sorted out. "I can't wait for today!" Squealed Mavis, twirling around in her 13-year-old body and baby pink flowing dress. Zeref chuckled at her enthusiasm and helped himself to sit on one of the two judging tables.
When 6:45pm rolled around, chatter began to evolve as well as the number of people. Mavis began to scribble and doodle on her piece of paper, showing some to Zeref who nodded to show approval. It mainly consisted of her and Zeref together, surrounded by his dark magic and her illusions joining. However it was hard to notice the meaning behind if she didn't explain it, as most of the shapes in it consisted of scribbles.
"My, my," I exhaled as Laxus returned from entertaining the guests already there with his lightning magic. He looked pissed, but his expression soothed when he met his eyes with mine. "You're just on time. The show's about to start."
A Mexican wave collided with a pathway set out for the first couple to come through—Gale. Gajeel had his electric guitar around his neck, and I attempted to hide the cringe on my face. I'd always had bad memories when he was around his guitar.
"We have Team Gale, who's singing Something there from Beauty and the Beast," Laxus announced, standing up from his seat. He gave a grunt when he sat back down.
I took the chance to tease him, "I think you'd make a good beast, Laxus." He scowled at me, but didn't reply.
The music started gently, calmly, like a ripple of water. Levy started with a shaky note, due to her nerves.
"There's something sweet and almost kind
But he was mean and he was coarse and unrefined
And now he's dear and so I'm sure
I wonder why I didn't see it there before..." Levy paused, the attention now on Gajeel in a beast outfit, its mattered hair not really a contrast to his normal look. Even his sunglasses he wore didn't really make any affect. Then the music paused. My hands found its way to the hem of my dress, squeezing it in hope it was part of the plan. Gajeel coughed, exhaled loudly and opened his mouth: "Shoo ba doo ba pop!"
I felt Laxus eye roll beside me, trying his best to not look mocking. But the crowd eased when Levy continued, as if the short bit Gajeel took part in never happened.
"And who'd have guessed They'd come together on their own?
It's so peculiar
We'll wait and see."Gajeel removed the electric guitar from around his shoulder. The audience moved back slightly, as if running away seemed like a better idea. But I never expected his voice to sound so delicate and sweet when he didn't sing his own song. "You know perhaps there is something there that wasn't there before
There may be something there that wasn't there before."With tears in my eyes, I stood up and started clapping. It was lucky Levy was his partner, and had patience to deal with him for the past 6 hours of rehearsal.
Zeref signalled to me when he finished judging them. Everything fell silent when it was my turn to stand. "Team Nalu coming up! Singing Hallelujah from Shrek!"
Natsu and Happy ran across the stage with thundering footsteps. Lucy was wailing behind, nearly stumbling over her own feet. "Alright!" Natsu roared, fire coming from his mouth, "I'm all fired up!" Happy flew around the two love birds, taking his place next to Natsu. Lucy stood in the centre, holding the microphone. She nodded her head at the beat, tapping her graceful feet to the correct time.
"I've heard there was a secret chord
That David played, and it pleased the Lord
But you don't really care for music, do you?
It goes like this
The fourth, the fifth
The minor fall, the major lift
The baffled king composing—". Her voice drifted everyone into a sweet lullaby. All her words were pronounced clearly, never a note out of place."Hallelujah!" Happy screeched, "Aye sir!" He added, doing a weird dance. Obviously it wasn't in the script, nor was it practised, since Lucy face palmed.
"Hallelujah, Hallelujah
Hallelujah, Hallelujah!" Natsu started rapping, doing the same dance Happy was doing. It included shaking his bottom, and roaring out fire (in Happy's case, he ate fish)."It looks like your "Hallelujah" are about fish, Happy," Lucy commented accidentally into the microphone. She quickly covered up her mouth with her hand with the Fairy Tail emblem. Happy replied with a content "Aye!" And swirled around the stage.
Natsu hurried next to Lucy, "See! I told you it'd be fun, Lucy!" He said, his voice draining out as they went back behind-stage, getting ready for dinner we were having together after.
"Next up," I called, somehow having a thought about sounding like someone in a TV radio station, "Team Gruvia! Singing Let It Go from Frozen!" Laxus nearly spat out his water as a certain raven-haired male stepped out from the curtains, dressed up in a blue dress and blonde wig.
He looked as if he was going to murder someone.
