In the end, the couple so called "Jerza" won the race. Gajeel and I, both wet from somehow falling in after Natsu attacked us, were standing helplessly in the sun, attempting to scorch ourselves.

"Haha, you lose Gajeel! Call yourself a dragon slayer?" Jeered Natsu in a light manner, which resulted in a three men fight with the well known trouble makers - Natsu, Gajeel and Gray. I sighed, but smiled as Lucy came towards me.

She removed a hair from her face by blowing it, her lips pursing slightly. She then watched Natsu from afar and breathed heavily. "Please remind me why I love him again?"

I pouted, hiding the hurt in my face when she talked about her boyfriend. So far, everyone had achieved Mira's goal - to have a romantic relationship with who they were shipped with. Only Gajeel and I were left; Lisanna and Bickslow had secretly gotten together over the race, though nobody saw them do anything romantic. They probably used the attention that was on Wendy and Romeo to confess in privacy.

Lucy seemed to have realised she'd touched a string in my heart. "Levy-chan, I'm 110% sure Gajeel loves you. Just give him time!" She leant forwards into my ear so only I could hear her. "And also, I've heard you've both shared a kiss already~!" Lucy teased, sending my face to turn a tomato shade of red.

"That was nothing!" I said quickly, edging backwards. I turned around abruptly to see Lisanna towering over me. Both Lucy and her had their eyebrows raised too far up their foreheads.

Silently cursing, I tried to make up an excuse of having to get into the shade. But all Lucy did was hand me a tub of sun cream from one of her skirt pockets with a satisfied look on her face.

"Are you sure? Or perhaps I was hallucinating?" Continued Lisanna, scrolling through pictures on her camera as if to show evidence. With a pleading look on my face, I faced Lucy.

And even though she was my best friend, I hated her at that moment since she had a small smile playing on her lips.

But then I had a wonderful idea. An idea that'd totally flip the tables around. "Lisanna," I said with as much sweetness as I could muster, "we're all so unlucky to have missed the moment you and Bickslow shared. Can't you tell us what happened?"

It was so out-of-character and so mean, I cringed on the inside. However I'd try anything to change the topic. Lucy now looked completely interested in Lisanna's part of the story; I felt relieved all the attention on me had now shifted. "W-well," Lisanna stuttered as she played with her fingers, "n-nothing...?"

Lisanna rubbed the back of her head with her hands. Knowing how awkward she must feel, I let her ease a bit as we all watched Juvia jump onto Gray's back.

"Gray-Sama!" She slurred, rubbing her head on the nape of his neck like a cat, "give Juvia a piggy-back ride!"

A vein popped on Lucy's forehead. "She really is going too far," I heard her mumble. But then she squealed as a hand wrapped around her waist. Lisanna and I watched in awe as she was flung around in circles due to Natsu's doing.
