😅😅I really want to apologise for this really short chapter! I was going to put paint balling here too, but then it'd be too long. I couldn't update yesterday either—I had a chemistry test today... Sorry about that...

I hope you enjoy!

The excitement from the whole guild plummeted. Mavis, the first leader of Fairy Tail, was hovering over the white carpeted floor, seeming to be in her own world as she looked out of the window. Zeref had crossed his legs on the sofa behind her, sending glares behind her angelic features.

"Mavis?" I asked, shocked. Her long, golden blonde hair curled behind her back, and she elegantly fixed her green eyes towards me.

Natsu had tried to pick a fight against his half brother, instead. "Zeref!" He clamped his fists together, "We have some unfinished business!" Zeref stayed motionless on his chair, but darkness flickered on his open palm. Zach and the other who the whole gang hated had picked the right choice of getting out of the room as soon as possible.

The dragon-slayer flew across the room towards Zeref, Natsu's hands in front of him covered in flames. However, he was flung outside the window by a small, lazy flick of Zeref's finger. Beside me, Gray laughed, and at the sound Juvia's eyes transformed into love hearts. Mavis glanced at the broken window, but didn't comment on it.

"Where is the 3rd master?" She questioned the whole guild, hands behind her pink frock.

"My old man didn't come," came Laxus' confident reply. Natsu had flown back in with Happy carrying him, bruises on his face since we were all on the 8th floor.

Mavis did not change her expression on her face, "That is upsetting. I was hoping to talk to him during my vacation here with Zeref."

Wendy attempted to hide her body behind Romeo, and Romeo tried his best to look as if he knew what was going on. After all, he has never met Mavis and Zeref before—he wasn't there at the incident when we were frozen for 7 years. Carla settled herself between both the other cats, her face still held upwards and full of pride.

Mira tried to keep the conversation as smooth as possible. Her face with tight and she had a forced smile on her face. "Mavis, Zeref!" She chirped, "Why did you pick this place for your vacation—of all places?"

Erza had busied herself with tightening shells on a string. She'd put it on like a necklace, and pulled the knot together at the back. She then proceeded to head in Zeref's position. "Zeref," Erza stated sternly, but I guess that was her way of greeting, "you tried to kill us last time."

With her red hair brushed towards one shoulder, she looked like a knight confronting a demon. Swinging it to Zeref's neck, she let her cool metal blade rest against one side of his jaw, testing his vulnerability.

Luckily, Jellal had pulled Erza away from Zeref's annoyed glance. Still, his change in mood was probably what Erza wanted to achieve.

"The third master wanted us to make sure you are safe during this whole training course," Mavis continued, ignoring the matters between Zeref and Fairy Tail.

Everybody fell silent, even Natsu who was still aiming to jump at Zeref again. Mavis patted her clothes. "Well then, enjoy your stay. We will come back in an hour for your first task."

Zeref finally stood up from his seat, "It was nice meeting you... brother," he made eye contact with Natsu. By instinct, Fairy Tail had clumped to one side in order to let the couple through.

Levy and I hurried to our rooms to unpack our suitcase. Mirajane had climbed onto the sofa and seemed already at home as she fumbled for the TV remote and switched it on. Erza headed to the room at the far end, next to Juvia's whose squeals about her Gray belongings rang through the dorm.

Inside, there was a wooden table in front of a window, paper on one side and on the other, scissors, rulers and pencils. I spent the majority of my time taking out a book about Celestial Wizards, and was reading it already covered in my duvet and an incredibly comfortable pillow.

There was a knock on my door, and I opened it without a second thought. Levy had brightened as she showed me the thousand of book cases her room had, as well as a large bed identical to mine. Opposite her bedroom was Erza's, who hadn't closed her door and was slashing a dummy with one of her swords. Lisanna was quiet in her room, and not wanting to disturb her, Levy and I tiptoed across to Juvia's.

Levy had her eyes wide at posters full of pictures of Gray, and a shelf with small figurines of Juvia's beloved. As we opened the door, Juvia had snatched one of her representations of Gray, and stashed it in one of her shelves.

"J-Juvia—". She flushed, embarrassed. Levy gave a light hearted laugh, but stopped short when Erza slammed the door open. I gave a yelp as I jumped to one side.

"Who broke it?!" Erza yelled, pulling the shell necklace she made from her neck. The shells looked all perfectly normal. Juvia had backed up against the far wall, and Erza took that as a reason to blame it on Juvia. "Juvia!" She bellowed, and placed the necklace into her hand, "did you do this?"

Juvia examined the necklace, but couldn't find anything that was broken. "Juvia thinks there's nothing wrong with the necklace!" Levy gestured for Juvia to give it to her. Erza and I waited patiently for the answer.

"There's nothing there, Erza-San. If this helps, some shells have holes in them..." Levy didn't finish her sentence as Erza fished the necklace out of Levy's hand and left the room without another sentence. I was about to continue the interrupted conversation, but Mira called us down.

"Come down!" She shouted from downstairs. "Mavis says our first activity will be paint-balling!"
