Chapter Ten

**Brace yo selves**

Slowly, the girl awoke. Her eyes hazel like normal. She rubbed her head and said "What happened? And why does my arm hurt?" She than look down at Shiro seeing his huge gash. "Shiro! You're bleeding!"

Shiro than chuckled. "Oh, yeah..."

"How can you be so calm!?" Pidge said as she got up and started to prepare a healing pod as fast as she could. "Hang in there!"

"I am fine!" Shiro said.

"No you are not!" Pidge said with a healing pod ready. "Get in!" She demanded.

"So you are telling me, I went crazy and attacked Shiro." Pidge said trying to process what just happened.

"Well, you tried to kill Matt first." Lance corrected.

Everyone was sitting on a couch near by the healing pod Shiro was in, trying to piece together what just happened.

"Do you not remember anything?" Matt asked.

"Nothing after when you guys were teasing me." Pidge said.

"Wait! Caran, didn't you say Pidge suffered from Dual Personallity Disorder?" Allura asked.

"Oh, yeah..." Caran sighed. "I guess I forgot. Aperantly, the Galra added a second personality that is triggered by anger. At first, we didn't know what the personalitly was like, but I guess she is a cold blooded killer."

Pidge shivered at the thought. A cold blooded killer?

"But that doesn't answer how she turned back." Lance asked.

"Her morality." Caran stated. "Even though Pidge ins't in main control, she still is there. Pidge can't stand injuring someone majorly."

"What doesn't that mean?" Lance asked.

"It basically means this second personality has one shot to injure the person where she wants, than Pidge can take control again."

Pidge stared into the healing pod Shiro was in. He looked so peaceful. Yet his side was extremely damaged. Allura said it would probably take him five or six hours before Shiro will come out again.

It hurt so much inside to know that it was her fault. She finally found out the difference between Shiro and her. The second Galra personality. If they can take control of her, they can hurt Voltron from the inside out. She was a danger.

"Hey Katie?" Matt said as he placed his hand on her shoulder. "Do you want to talk?"

Pidge and Matt went to her room, to just talk. Kind of like when they were younger. Oh, she missed those days.

"Are you okay?" Matt asked his sister as he sat on her floor, Pidge sitting a few feet away.

"I don't know, Matt." She replied looking downwards towards the floor. "I am scared. I am scared I am going to hurt more than just Shiro. Matt, what if they perposely let me go. let me go? What if it was a part of some plan?"

"I don't know what to say. I mean, this can be scary, but we have to have hope, right?" Matt said. "When we were about to freeze to death, and I was wondering if anyone was actually going to come, you told me that couldn't loose hope. And look at us now. We are here and safe."

"That is one thing. Matt, me being a danger to everyone on board is different."

"Katie, it's our birthday. Why don't we focus on something else? We can worry about this later."
