"Bravo! I actually thought Kaota would win, but I guess I was incorrect."

Pidge looked back and there she was, Sorrah, standing roughly fifteen feet away from her. Fear and anger ran through her veins. She found out.

Pidge quickly turned back around as she placed her hand on the door lock in front of her. Unfortunately, she was not greeted with access, but with a surge of pain throughout her body. Immediately, she collapsed to the ground.

"Pidge!" Shiro yelled as picked her up. "Are you okay?" He asked as he looked into her eyes.

"I don't know." Pidge said as she still had consciousness, but couldn't move her body. Sorrah, temporarily paralyzed her.

Shiro set her against the wall and got up and started to charge at Sorrah with his glowing hand.

Sorrah than pulled out a remote that had resisted in her pocket and pressed the button on it. Suddenly, a surge of electricity shot through Shiro as he fell to his knees.

"Do you really think I am as dumb as Sendek to have no back up plan?" Sorrah asked with on of her hands on her hip as she approached Pidge.

"What did you do to her?!" Shiro shouted.

Sorrah than pressed the button again sending another shock through him. "No talking!" She spat.

Fear rushed into Pidge as Sorrah knelt down in front of her.

"I should've known you would win." She started. "Your heart is something I have never seen before."

"Leave her alone!" Shiro shouted.

This time, Sorrah pressed and held the button for a few seconds creating a longer shock. "Shut it, loverboy!"

She than directed her attention to Pidge, again. "You were willing to risk everything to find your father, brother, and him. Your identity, your freedom, your future. Yet you did it anyways."

Even though Sorrah had technically given her a compliment, Pidge didn't loosen her face on bit.

"When you received news that your father was dead, you held on to hope." She paused as a smile grew on her face. "You know, we let you and your brother go on purpose, so you would you find your way back to Voltron, and kill your brother and the team, but it looks like you only did half the job."

They let her go on purpose? It was all their dirty little plan. They wanted her to kill her brother. They knew she would. It was all planned. It hurt to think they could predict her enough to plan everything.

"Even when your whole family was gone," Sorrah continued. "you knew that some day, it would be better. When you found out you were a monster, you tortured yourself to save Voltron. You tortured yourself almost to the point of insanity, just so your team would live."

Pidge wanted to slap her in the face, but she couldn't move. She could only move her head, but that really wasn't useful.

"When you thought he died, you were filled with hope. Hope that you might see him some day. Hope that all was not lost. Why!?" Sorrah started to grow louder.

A small smile appeared on Pidge's face.

"WHY IS IT SO HARD TO BREAK YOU?!" Sorrah yelled at her face. "WHAT DO I HAVE TO DO?!"

"You can't." Pidge said simply.

Sorrah than slapped Pidge in the face. Her face growing with anger. "EVERYONE HAD A BREAKING POINT! SO WHY DON'T YOU?!"

Pidge no longer felt fear, but hope.

"YOUR FATHER, YOU BROTHER, WE COULD BREAK THEM AND MANIPULATE THEM!" Sorrah than picked up Pidge by the collar of her uniform and held her against the wall. "You're heart is something special Katie."

"So what are you going to do about it?" Pidge asked mockingly.

"Maybe just let you feel how I feel." Sorrah answered as she tossed Pidge across the hall and on to the ground. "I want you to know how it feels to have your plans crushed by a simple little human girl with a heart!" She mocked as she started to approach her.

But before she could reach her, Shiro had grabbed on to Sorrah's foot. Her first reaction was to grab the remote and press the button. Sadly, that wasn't the brightest idea she has had. Yes, it sent a shock through Shiro, but because of conductivity, it shocked her as well, causing her to fall to the ground in pain.

"QUIZNACK!" She shouted as she fell to her knees.

Shiro than took the opportunity to punch Sorrah in the face, take the remote, and stomp on it. He than said sternly, "Don't you ever touch my Katie, again."

Pidge liked the sound of that. His Katie. It made her heart flutter.

He than rushed back to Pidge and picked her up. "You okay?" He asked.

"Let's just leave before we run into more trouble." Pidge answered.

Shiro went back to the door and set Pidge back down as he punched right through the door with his Galran arm.

He picked her back up bridal style as he entered into his lion. He kept her in his lap as he piloted it out. Luckily, the green lion followed as for Pidge had no ability to pilot it right at this moment.

Shiro than turned on his communicator to see if the castle would answer. "Is anyone there? I need a healing pod prepared."

Luckily, Keith answered. "Shiro! Where are you? What happened? Do you have Pidge? Is she okay?"

"Shut up and get a healing pod ready!" Shiro demanded.

"Yes, Shiro." Keith quickly replied.

---

Peace.

That what Pidge felt right now. For the first time in forever, Pidge felt complete and utter Peace. She felt rest from her troubles. Rest from pain and agony. Physically and emotionally.

She than felt consciousness regain and she opened her eyes.

Everyone awaited her outside of her pod with anxious eyes and bright smiles. Oh, how much did she realized she missed them. Her team and their smiles. It brought joy to her heart.

The pod release her as she fell into Lance's arms.

Lance. She than remembered what she heard earlier that day. He was the one who wanted to replace her.

Anger and sadness washed over her. She didn't want to see him. She didn't even want to be in the same room as him.

But before she could back away, he pulled her into a tight hug, as she swore she felt tears fall onto her shoulder.

Was he crying?
