Okay, so I had something else planned for 25k, but than I found out today was Keith's birthday so I decided to do this and put the other one as the 30k special.

I hope you like it!

Keith always hated recess. He always sat in the corner as he stayed away from everyone else. He didn't like talking to other kids as he was a very anti social third grader.

Today was October 23rd, his birthday. He never told the teacher it was his birthday. He didn't care too. He didn't like the other students and he especially didn't want all of them to celebrate his birthday with him.

Though, today was also someone else's birthday in his class. Her name was Molly. She had long brown hair and green eyes. She was a popular girl. Why did he have to share birthdays with her?

The worst part today was that Molly's mother came to class today. She passed out treats for everyone in the morning and celebrated Molly's birthday with her. It's not that Keith hated Molly's mother, he just hated the fact she had a mother, when he had none.

He always found it unfair. He wanted to scream every time he heard someone brag or even mentioned their mother.

Keith pulled his knees up to his chest as he burried his face between his knees. He could feel tears roll down his cheeks. He saw how much Molly's mother care for her. How happy she was for her. He wanted that! He wanted that so dearly...

He wanted a mom who would hug him when he was sad. He wanted a mom who would kiss his boo boos. He wanted a mom would read him stories at night. He wanted a mom who would bake him cakes on his birthday. He wanted a mom...

He wiped his tears as he looked up at the sky. He saw the soft white clouds drift in the light blue sea of air in the sky. Often he dreamed of flying on a cloud, leaving all his worries behind. Somewhere he could be free. Somewhere he'd be far from bullies. Somewhere that he belonged.

He than muttered. "Please send someone..." It wasn't to anyone in particular, just whoever was listening up there. "I need someone other than my dad..."

He than burried his head between his knees again as not too long later, he felt a hand on his shoulder. He looked up to see a brown haired tan boy. Keith guess he was probably in his class. "Hey!" The boy smiled as he sat next to him. "You seem lonely. My name's Lance." He offered a hand to him. Keith shook it.

"Keith."

It's kind of short. I know. This was kind of last minute. Sorry. I hoped you liked it anyways.
