Two Years Later...
"Shiro, can I please take off this blind fold! It's itchy." Pidge complained as she sat in shot gun of one of the castle's shuttles.
"No. We're not there yet. And plus, I have to land." Shiro said as she tried to make the shuttle go faster. He sighed as he said, "I should've taken my lion."
"Yes, you should have." Pidge said as she folded her arms. "You better be glad you're my boyfriend or I would've taken the blindfold off myself by now."
"Please, Pidge. It's not that far away. Just give me a little bit." He begged.
"What is it?!"
"For the fifth time, it's a surprise." Shiro sighed slightly annoyed.
Pidge slid down in her seat as she grunted. "Can you at least tell me a hint of what this surprise is?"
"Pidge, no..."
"Ah come on! Please!?" Pidge begged.
"No." Shiro said. "If you keep this up, you won't get anymore kisses for like... a week."
"Fine." She grunted.
---
Shiro had used the cloaking update Pidge installed a while ago to land on Earth without any one like NASA or the news to investigate.
Today, he wanted them to be undisturbed.
He landed amongst the trees of a familar forest. The Holt Forest. Samuel Holt bought an unnamed forest that was located behind his families house a few years after Matt and Katie were born. There was 20 achers of undisturbed land.
Samuel hated it when people wanted to cut it down, so he bought it. Well, it wasn't that hard for a famous astrongot get enough money to by a forest. It was then named after their family.
While Matt, Katie, and Shiro were growing up, this was where they would play. It was special to them, and well, today was a special day.
Shiro got out of his seat as he guided his blindfolded girlfriend out of the shuttle.
As soon, as they started to walk off the shuttle, Pidge noticed the sound of Shiro stepping on twigs and leaves.
"Are we in a forest? Wait! Are we on the planet of the Akari?! I love that planet!" Pidge exclaimed.
"Well, yes and no. We are in a forest, but not on the planet of the Akari." Shiro answered.
"Oh..." Pidge sighed in disappointment.
"Just be patient." Shiro said as he guided her to a specific tree. When they stood in front of the tree, Shiro said, "Okay, you can take the blind fold off."
"Finally." Pidge said. As she took of the blind fold, she saw a large oak tree in front of her with a platform on the higher branches. There was a hammered plank ladder all the way up to the plantform. Pidge gasped as she recognized this tree. "You didn't tell me we would travel to Earth!"
"It was a surprise, Pidge. That's the point of surprises." Shiro said.
"What has it been, like three years since we have been on Earth." Pidge said.
"Sounds about right."
"Oh, I missed Earth." She said as she climbed up the ladder to platform.
She sat at the edge of the platform, her legs tangling, just like when they were younger. She stared into the sky, taking in the few she missed for so long.
Shiro sat beside her, as he placed his hand on hers.
If you traveled back in time maybe eight years and told Shiro that he would be selected to go on a mission to Kerberos, get ubducted by aliens and tortured, escape, and form a team of flying magical lions to save the universe, and upon that, fall in love and get a girlfriend while in space, he would've thought you were crazy.
"It's a beautiful view." Shiro said.
"Each planet has their own beauty," Pidge said. "But I missed seeing Earth's beauty."
You didn't even have to say that for him to think you were crazy. All you had to say was that, he was going to ask that girl to marry him. And, that girl was his best friend's twin sister, Katie.
Shiro put his other hand in his pocket as he double checked to see if the box was in his pocket.
Anxiety filled him, as he held it getting ready to pull it out. He was going to do this.
"Today is July sixth, right?" Pidge asked as she looked at her boyfriend's eyes.
"Yeah." Shiro confirmed.
"Than, what's so special about today? Why did you bring me to Earth today of all days?"
"Well, Allura had decided to give us a small break, so I decided to take the opratunity." Shiro answered.
"Oh."
"Hey, Katie? I have to ask you something." Shiro said, his hands starting to shake.
"And what's that?" Pidge asked. He didn't call her Katie often, so she knew this was something important.
"W-will you..." Shiro stuttered. "W-will you make m-me the happiest man in the u-universe, and..." He pulled out the small box in his pocket and opened it revealing a beautiful balmarian gem ring. "...marry me?"
Pidge gasped with her hands over her mouth. Tears of joy were forming in her eyes as she said. "Yes. Yes Takashi, I will marry you."
But if you told him, that she would say yes, he would've wondered if you were either suppose to be in a mental hospital or if you were on drugs.
Shiro than placed the ring on his now fiancé, as he gave her a kiss.
She was finally his forever.

As you may have noticed, there was no picture. That was on purpose. Don't question me.
Also, don't leave just because I wrote the epilogue. I have one more chapter left.
Someone: But Kan, you can't add anymore chapters after the epilogue!
I understand, but you'll understand, when I write one more chapter.
No, I won't spoil what the next chapter is. You just have to wait and see.
