Pidge hugged Lance back. She felt like she was home.
She felt tears starting to form in her eyes. Home. It had been too long since she felt this.
It left her the day Matt, her father, and Shiro left on the Kerberos mission.
Pidge than could guarantee Lance was crying. Her shoulder was soaked and she could hear him sniffling.
"Are you okay, Lance?" Pidge asked.
At first she didn't get a response, but than he spoke up. "W-we almost lost you. You were a-almost gone forever and it would've been all my fault."
Pidge didn't know what to say. She opened her mouth to speak, but words didn't come out.
"I am s-sorry, Pidge." He sobbed. "I thought I was doing the right thing, but I didn't realize how you would feel. I am so so so sorry." He sobbed.
Pidge couldn't recall Lance ever crying before, so she knew that he was being sincere.
"It okay." Pidge said back. "I forgive you."
She could feel her chest feel lighter as she said that. Those simple words gave her a feeling she never wanted to forget.
Even being an orphan with no members of her biological family left, she still felt like she had a family.
Kind of like a space family.

Probably after thirty minutes, everyone finished hugging Pidge. At first it was heart warming, but than it was awkward when Coran decided to give her a hug too.
Pidge eventually decided to head to her hanger. She still had a couple of unfinished project she wanted to complete.
For the past month, she had done nothing except write in her journal, think, eat, and sleep. Each project tugging at her mind as she sat there in the darkness.
It was a good change in scenery.
While she was working, though, she heard a knock on her door.
"Come in!" She said back in response.
The door opened as Shiro walked in. "Hey, Pidge?" He spoke up.
"Hmm." Pidge hummed as she went back to project.
"Can I asked of you a favor?" He asked.
"Yeah, sure!" She responded as she put down her project and turned around to face her leader.
"So, I was curious on how Sorrah was shocking me, so I asked Allura to do a scan of me to find any way they might have been doing it, and well, she couldn't find anything. She said that they probably put something in my arm to do that. She said that you might be able to find something." Shiro explained.
"So you want me to find out how they were shocking you so they can't do it again?"
"Basically." Shiro sighed.
"I mean I could probably scan your arm, but since that is Galran tech and so would the device it wouldn't be easy to find." Pidge contemplated.
He walked up closer to her as he sighed in disappointment. "I kind of thought it would be."
Than a thought came to her. "Actually, it might not be hard to find." She sprang up. She than headed to a different desk to get her scanner.
"Really?"
"Yeah! If my arm is the same as yours, we can just scan them at the same time and search for any abnormalities."
"You're a genius."
