“Let’s go out on lunch, my treat.”
Hindi pa ako nakakareply sa email when I hear our trainer, “Steph. It’s his treat daw.." he eyed me before he looked at Ken. "What’s going on?“ he asked using his nang-aasar na tono. Anong pinaglalaban mo, sir?
Nagulat ako nang makita ko syang nakatayo sa likod ni Ken. Kaya pala nabasa nya. Nabuhay ang natutulog kong diwa. Ken!!
“Don't read what’s not yours!” I hissed. Pinipigilan kong matawa. Close naman kami kaya okay lang na sagutin ko sya ng pabara-bara. Alam na that!
He grinned, “It's unintentional. Iam walking around, malay ko bang you guys are having some personal talk. Sorry, is it my bad?" nang aasar pa rin ang mga ngiti nya. Naku, alam ko yang mga ngiting ganyan. Fine, tukso pa more!
Medyo tumaas ang energy ko during lunch time. Syempre, time to make our tummy happy. Ken treated me. It was in a Japanese restaurant malapit sa office. It was a group lunch actually, present ang buong team.

“Okay, we still have two hours left. Since everything has been discussed, I’ll sent you guys home.” our trainer announced.
“Atlast..” I heavily sighed.
Nagkayayaan silang uminom dahil maaga pa naman, it was just 10PM. Too early to go home.
“Dude, tara shot!”
“Sige pre, let’s get in on! Saan tayo?”
“Metro?”
“Ken. Tara!” Rein asked his best friend.
“Sige sige, but wait I’ll ..” hindi na nya tinapos ang sasabihin nang bigla nya akong hinarap.
“Steph! We’re gonna go out. Join us..”
“Ken, never sumasama yan. Let’s try your charm." Luh, ano daw charm? Meron ba sya nun? Saan banda?
“Sige na. We’ll not ask you to drink, just join us. Pleaaseee..” Ken plead, puppy eyeing.
Napaisip ako, kung sa bagay sasama lang naman ako. Hindi naman ako iinom. Why not, choknut, hindi ba? Besides, I’ll be with them, this would be a bonding moment too. I trust Ken, alam kong okay lang nandun naman sya.
