Nightmare

Mckenzie's POV

We're going to the movies. Afterwards we're supposed to go out to eat. Liam, Harry, Beth and Nat all ride in Nat's car. Niall and I ride in his car.

We both get into the car. I don't say anything. I just plug in my earbuds and start to play music on my phone. He pulls out of the drive way and I soon fall asleep.

"Don't trust him," his hands are on my waist. "He'll only break you." He whispers in my ear.

His face is only inches from mine. This is when I usually wake up. But I don't.

He kisses me. Why am I not waking up? What's so different this time?

Heat spreads through my body. His hands are in my hair and his body is against mine. I feel like my body is on fire. All of the sudden, he pushes me away. When I look up at him, he's kissing HER. The girl he cheated on me with. He's kissing her.

My heart feels like it's been thrown into a wood chipper and the remaining pieces have been burnt and stomped on. Tears are running down my face. I want to wake up.

"STOP! PLEASE! STOP!" I scream,"PLEASE!"

Niall's POV

I pull over to the side of the road when I hear her start to scream. "STOP! PLEASE! STOP!"

I get out of the car and run to the passenger side. Just as I open her door she screams,"PLEASE!"

I shake her shoulders to try and wake her. She crying and screaming. I'm scared for her. Whatever she was dreaming about must've been pretty bad for her to go into hysterics like this.

When she finally opens her eyes, she looks up at me with tear-filled, red eyes. She jumps up and hugs me tightly. I don't want her to let go. I hug her back and kiss her on the forehead. She pulls away from the hug and I gently wipe the tears from her face.

"Thank you for waking me up."

"No problem. Would you like to talk about it?"

She puts her head in her hands. "It's a long story and we can't keep Nat and them waiting."

I pull her hands away from her face,"I can call them and tell them that you and I decided to go somewhere else. I'm sure she'll understand."

She sighs,"Can I trust you?"

Can she trust me? What sort of question is that? Can she?

"Yes. Of course."

She looks at me long and hard. "Call them."
