(Chapter 23)

*Alyssa's POV*

My heart sank deeper than Titanic when I saw Adrian in the hall. A week had gone by, of ignoring the bad boy's existence and Trystan and him weren't allowed to sit with us anymore. The first time, Trystan made his way to sit next to Sydney and demand why we were running from them, when she, Regina George-worthy said 'You can't sit with us'. The price of the two boy's faces could never be named. Now, I was back to studying 24/7 without disturbances to go to the beach or wild gift distributions. But now, Adrian seemed to have given up trying to get me to talk to him which probably hurt fifty times more than him and Kiara.

"So, guess you're not in a relationship anymore" Carl's voice said behind me and I clenched my jaw. "We never were Carl." "Yeah, I heard Kira telling someone that Adrian made that up" Carl inched closer but I shoved him back which was as useful as a seal in a killer whale's mouth. Wow, where did that reference come from? Savage much? "Yeah, well the only reason we made that up was to keep that tit loving hand of yours off me! Whore! Why don't you find another girl who wants to suck you, because this one ain't interested. AT ALL!" I growled and Carl gawked at me. Probably never heard harsh words out of my mouth. Believe me when I say that I could be harsher. Not wanting to find out his retort, I hurried away to math class, ignoring Adrian's intense gaze on my back.

I stared at my calculus homework with distaste. "How'd you even understand this crap" Sydney hissed and I shrugged her off, trying to finish it. We were at my house, desperately trying to finish the homework which we should have started yesterday. Sydney's phone rang and she stared at it wide eyed. TRYSTAN was the caller. "Speaker" I instructed and Sydney obeyed. "Hello?" She called. "Babe. We need to talk" Trystan's voice spoke immediately. Sydney sighed. "No shit" "Right, so.. What the bloody hell is going on? Why are you just shutting me off? Do you wanna break up. Like what the heck tell me!" He burst out and Sydney met my eyes. "Um, Trystan. You should know why I'm cutting you off. You're always with Adrian and Alyssa and I aren't going near that jerk" "Wait what?" "Adrian didn't tell you?" Sydney cried. "Wait is this about Kiara? Because those are just rumors. Right Adrian?" He spoke with confidence and we immediately knew his phone was on speaker with Adrian in the room. Adrian didn't seem to reply to Trystan because now Trystan's voice wavered. "Wait you and Kiara actually...? Oh my god ADRIAN!" He fumed. "I'm sorry alright!" Adrian's muffled voice called. "OHMYGOD, And now I'm having issues with my girlfriend because of that." Trystan cursed.

I couldn't stop myself from speaking. "Look, I don't want to get in between you and Sydney's relationship and honestly I care about what Adrian did with Kiara as much as donkey's crap but I'm not willing to hang out with a player." I was surprised by the straightness in my voice. "Wait Cinnamon? You're listening?" Adrian's voice called and I ignored him. "Sorry if your best friend doesn't tell you things Trystan. AND DON'T BLOODY CALL ME THAT ADRIAN SKYLER!" I shrieked and grabbed the phone to cut the call, Sydney staring at me as I breathed heavily. "Well, say bye to that bad boy. He officially is a major jerk who lies to his best friend AND is an insult to existence!" I went back to my homework. Yup, welcome back the shitty insults again.
