*Alyssa's POV*

I texted Sydney a detailed version of everything that happened so far. Sydney: That's cool, Aly, have fun. Ugh just getting ready for school, you lucky ass, bunking. I grinned. PING! My mom sent me a text. I held my breath and opened it. Mum: Morning, Sweetheart, hope you're feeling better. Rest lots and study in bed today. Will call later.

I texted a reply and then tossed my phone into my white purse and banged on the bathroom door where Adrian was still changing. "ARE YOU READY YET?" I grumbled with annoyance. "Patience is the virtue, Cinnamon!" I groaned in agitation. "NOT MINE!" I called back. The door opened and Adrian came out in a floral Hawaiian shirt and black three fourth shorts. I chuckled. "Keeping it bad boy style, I see" I remarked and he rolled his eyes. "Shut up and change, Cinnamon, you'll make us late" "But you're the one who took long-" he pushed me in and shut the door. I stuck my tongue out at the closed door and locked it. I put on a striped off the shoulder black and white top and high waist denim shorts and put on a pair of aviator sunglasses. We left Dexter's Hotel and walked on the thin sidewalk. We rented a pale blue scooter which Adrian glared at in disgust. "C'mon Skyler, nobody here knows you, it won't be a hit to your bad boy rep" I rolled my eyes and got on. "At least lemme drive" He complained but I didn't budge. "Put your helmet on" I instructed and after a lot of grumbling he agreed and I started the engine and we were off. "According to google, you need to take a right, wait no, left. I think. Yeah It's right" Adrian said. "Ugh, remind me to teach you your rights and lefts" I took a right and we drove on for a while.It was beautiful, the canals, streams, fountains all around us. We passed a few cafes and then stopped short at our destination: The Rialto Bridge. "This is the oldest bridge over the Grand Canal" I narrated as we parked and walked on the bridge. "In Venetian, It's called Ponte de Rialto, isn't that cool?" I grinned and leaned over a little. "You're a terrible guide" Adrian chuckled and I punched his arm. "Don't get me started on your navigation skills" We spent a while just staring at the water and taking pictures. I bent over and dropped a pebble into the water and tried to see it sink when I heard a click. "DID YOU JUST TAKE A PICTURE OF ME?!" I cried to Adrian and he put his phone away. "Huh? I dunno what you're talking about" He put his hands up, stifling a laugh. I shook my head and pulled him back to the scooter. "Let's go, people are already judging us" Not that I care

We visited the Church of San Giorgio Maggiore where I took dozens of polaroids and explored with Adrian. By then it was late evening. "C'mon let's head back" Adrian said and we left to the hotel.

"Damnit, this is definitely gonna be my lock screen" Adrian snorted at his phone. We were in the hotel's tiny restaurant eating pasta. "What?" I asked and leaned over the table to see. "Nothing" He replied and tried to hide his phone. "Gimme" I whined and snatched it. "HEY!" I pressed the unlock button on his phone and stared at the screen. It was a photo of me smiling toothily at the church with my camera and purse in hand. "ADRIAN SKYLER! Tell me your password right now" "Why so you can delete the photos? No thanks" He took his phone and I pouted like a child. "You were supposed to be taking pictures of the view not me" I said. "Yes and my view was incredible" He teased and I felt myself go red and quickly took a bite into my pasta.

We agreed to take turns sleeping on the bed and tonight was mine. I changed into my sponge bob pyjamas, ignoring the snicker from Adrian and brushed my teeth before collapsing on my bed. One day down, two more to go.
