Ace's POV

I decided to stay with Cassie for the last 5 days I have left. And now we're down to one.

Sigh

They said being left behind is worse, but for me leaving is way worst. Specially when there is someone special. Pero aaminin ko na importante din sa akin tong opportunity na ito. I've worked hard to get Ms. Gonzales to say yes. I know I want this so bad, but I want her even more.

Ilang minuto na akong gising samantalang siya ay tulog parin. Mahigpit siyang nakayakap sa akin, na parang ayaw niya akong umalis. Yes I know she doesn't want me to, but I think mas gusto niyang sundin ko mga pangarap ko. I'm so lucky that I have someone who completely understands me. Masakit para sa amin to but, tiis lang muna tayo baby, ha?

Tinitigan ko siyang mabuti. From her black silk hair, her long curled eyelashes, thick and beautifully made eyebrows, her narrow pointed nose, her rose cheeks, down to her perfect pinkish heart shaped lips. God knows how I'm gonna miss this woman so much. I don't even want to let go.

Naalimpungatan siya at idinilat konti yung mga mata niya. hinalikan ko siya sa noo na nagpangiti sa kanya. As much as possible gusto kong naka-ngiti lang siya kahit na aalis na ako mamaya. I will assure her the world. I will tell her that she is the only home I want to come home to. I will savor this moment and repeatedly remind her how much she means to me and how much I love her to death.

"I love you" Agad na bulong ko sa kanya.

"I love you more" pagkasabi niya non ay umisa ako ng halik.

"Gising na, marami pa tayong gagawin." Nag grin ako sa kanya na nagdahilan para paluin niya ako sa braso. humagikhik ako kasi alam ko kung anong nasa isip niya.

"C'mon, breakfast tayo sa labas. Get ready, okay?" Hinalikan ko siya sa noo at tuluyan na akong bumangon sa kama.

"Saan tayo kakain?" Curios niyang tanong habang kinukusot pa niya yung mga mata niya.

"Basta, get up and get ready. Pagkatapos nating kumain date tayo and then I'll bring you home para makapag-ready tayo para sa party later." I said as I look for something I could wear from my duffel bag.

"And then you'll leave after." Malungkot niyang saad. Tinignan ko siyang mabuti. These past few days, she's been too doubtful. I don't want her to think na mawawala ako sa kanya, ever. I tried imagining a life without her, and I couldn't. I wouldn't.

I turned around and walk up to her. I knelt down in front of her and I reach for her hands and kiss them. I look at her right through her eyes and smile. I told you, I'm going to make her feel secure about me, about us.

"This doesn't mean anything Kaye. I will just be on the other side of the world but I assure you I will never leave you. Para sa akin, there's no place I could go besides to you. Sa'yo lang ako babalik, at uuwi. You are my home Kaye. Please Kaye, can we not think about this, at least just for today?" Tanong ko habang nakatingin siya sa kamay kong hinahaplos ang kamay niya.

"But-" agad kong pinutol kung ano man sasabihin niya at hinalikan ko siya. I kiss her gently. making her feel all the love I could make her feel. I kiss her so I could erase whatever doubts she has for our relationship.
