Sid let out a blast from his gauntlets, “He’s almost as arrogant and pompous as you are.”

“Hrumph,” hrumphed Arthur as Sid let him down to retrieve his bag. “Hang on a minute,” said Arthur, “I’ll just check my messages.”

Sid let off another blast and stunned Spratz who was lurking, goblin like, near the door.

There seemed to be no messages.

Sid landed in the room and Arthur climbed on his back.

“Up and away,” cried Sid as he launched himself into the air.

“Yes,” observed Arthur, “nice plug for the third book in the Arth series.”

They both flew after Fiona.

“She’s really motoring,” noticed Sid of Fiona to Arthur, but of course Arthur couldn’t hear and was really wishing he had commandeered a nice furry hat from the discombobulated Varangian guards.

Then Arthur felt his phone vibrate. He managed to reach into his pocket to retrieve it and looked at the message. It was from N, ‘Ring me immediately concerning the rescue of F10N-A’. He knocked on Sid’s carapace.

Sid turned his head to look at Arthur, “What?”

Arthur pointed to his phone and mouthed, “I need to call N.”

“We’ll never catch up to Fiona if we have to keep stopping,” chuntered Sid. He looked down then landed in a residential area behind somebody’s shed, then popped his helmet open, "What does the old blitherer want?”

“He said it has got something to do with Fiona.” Arthur dialled N’s office.
