“Well I do hope it’s finished, we’ve done enough stuff to fill a book.” As he said that he got a text from N on his phone. They all got texts on their phones from N. They went to meet him in his office.
They were barely all able to fit into N’s office. In fact Arianne and Trelainne were standing in Miss Funnypenny’s office looking into N’s. “Nice dress,” Trelainne complimented Miss Funnypenny.
N coughed to let everyone know he was going to say something.
“Nasty cough?” Sid enquired of N.
“No, I was clearing my throat so that I could begin to debrief you.”
“Here it comes,” With whispered to Lee.
“You do realise,” N started, “that none of you had the correct level clearance to expedite this mission don’t you?” He looked around, “Where’s Arthur?”
“He didn’t have his key card,” explained Biggs, “so they took him to the tower holding cells.”
N let out a sigh then pressed his intercom, “Blenkinsop, please release Arthur Pendragon from the tower.” Looking back at the sorry bunch of heroes he asked, “Sid, you were with him weren’t you?”
“Aye.”
“Can you tell me what happened then?”
“With the funny parts or just the bare bones?”
“I’m on a diet so just the bare bones.”
