Hey everyone! Thanks for giving my story a try, it really means a lot to me :)
This I my first fanfic ever and I don't know if anyone besides my sister is actually going to read it but it's worth giving it a shot, eh? Since I am not a native speaker there may be a couple of grammar or spelling mistakes throughout the book and I'd like to apologize in advance in case I mess up ;)
I'd also like to claim that I do not own any of the real life people, only the characters I created for my story. Furthermore I don't hold any ownership over the photos used, no copyright intended. I do however own the story I created and the ideas I come up with.
With that being said, I hope you enjoy my story as much as I enjoyed writing it!

The moment I got out of bed at 6.30 am and bumped straight into my desk, I knew it was gonna be one of those days. I quietly cursed under my breath and hopped through my room on one foot while desperately clutching the other one. I groaned and flung myself back on my bed, hitting the back of my head on the frame in the process. Great, just great. After ten more minutes of snuggling into my still warm bedsheets I couldn't make up any more excuses to stay in bed and slowly moved to get back up. I grabbed some clothes out of my drawer and dragged myself to the bathroom while trying not to wake up my flatmate Lucy.

While taking a long hot shower my senses finally came to live. I was listening to the radio as I washed the last bits of shampoo out of my dark brown curls. "Good morning, London!" cheered the radio presenter. "I am Will Manning and you're listening to Capital FM! I hope all of you out there are having a wonderful start into the day and I am about to make this day even more awesoooome." He sang the last word in a high pitched tone and I rolled my eyes at his enthusiasm. "I don't know what sort of coffee you had for breakfast but get me one of those", I muttered to myself. Climbing out if the shower I heard the first chords of "You and I" by One Direction and even though I am definitely not a morning person, I couldn't help but to happily hum along as my favourite boys started to sing. Listening to One Direction made the process of getting ready for uni less painful and I was a bit disappointed when the song ended.

As I carefully applied Mascara to my eyes I was startled by a sudden, sharp knock on the door. I jumped at the sound poking the mascara stick into my eye in the process and cursed in pain. "Oi Abby, are you sewing your clothes yourself in there or what the hell is taking you so long to put something on?" I heard Lucy yell from the other side of the door. "Jesus, Lu, you scared the crap out of me!" I exclaimed annoyed and looked at the dark smearing around my left eye which now looked like a five year old got a bit over-excited. "Sorry, not sorry" Lucy said. "A girl's gotta pee!" I sighed, knowing I did not stand a chance of staying in the bathroom, now that Lucy was up. I snatched my make-up remover, mascara and my hairbrush in order to finish off in my room. When I opened the door, Lucy stared at my not-so-perfect make-up for a split second before she burst out laughing. "Don't you dare say a single word; this is all your fault!" I snapped. "Aaaw come on, I love your panda-look", Lucy squealed in between laughters. "It really brings out the blue in your eyes, you know?" "Just shut it and get going!" I growled and made my way past her towards my room. "I love you too, sweetie!" cheered Lucy before closing the bathroom door.

Half an hour later I had managed to get rid of the 'panda-look' how Lucy called it and was on my way to the door after having a quick breakfast. I slipped into my brown boots, put on my jeans jacket and finished off my outfit with my favourite dark red scarf, a Christmas present from my mum. I flung my bag over my shoulder, yelled a hasty goodbye to Lucy and closed the door of our flat behind me. As I stepped out into the mild April morning sun I took a deep breath and closed my eyes for a brief moment just enjoying the feeling of the sun on my skin. I hopped on the next bus to university, sat down at the window and plugged my IPod into my ears, putting my One Direction Playlist on shuffle. Looking out of the window, I saw the busy streets of my favourite city and smiled as the intro of "Don't forget where you belong" sounded in my ears. Maybe it was not going to be such a bad day after all.
