Hello lovelies, I am still alive! This uni year has been the busiest I've been in a while and working on top of it, did not really help the cause so once again I have to apologise for my inactivity. My updates will probably stay infrequent for a little while longer, my life has been a bit of an interesting mess for quite a while now and I don't wanna make any promises of monthly updates that I can't keep. But on the bright side – the new chapter is here! I started writing this a few weeks ago but had to stop after the tragic news of Felicite's passing. Once again my heart goes out to the entire family in this incredibly difficult time <3 Here is a gif of a smiley Louis as this is how we love him best.

The next morning, I woke up with the biggest of smiles on my face. A happy sigh escaped me as I snuggled deeper into Louis' arms, his grip unconsciously tightening around me in his sleep. His fingers still entangled in mine, I gently started stroking the back of his hand. Moments like these made me forget how much it hurt whenever we were away from each other.

I don't know how long I lay in Louis' arms, waiting for him to wake up but in all honesty, there was no place I would have rather been. He was warm, comfortable and his arms wrapped around my body perfectly. A soft moan in my ear told me that Louis was slowly waking up. "Good morning, sleepy head" I whispered softly and turned my head slightly to look into his sleepy eyes. His hair was ruffled, he had soft lines on his cheek from where his head had pressed into his pillow and beard stubbles covered his chin but when a smile lit his face, he had never looked more handsome to me.

"Good morning, my love." He said in his raspy voice and gave me a quick peck on his nose. "Did you sleep well?" Louis asked and pushed onto his elbow, his free hand tracing my features. I nodded and pressed a quick kiss on his fingers as they traced my lips. "I did indeed. I was quite exhausted after last night." I added and gave Louis a cheeky grin who raised his eyebrows. "Oh yeah?" He said and leaned over to kiss me.

With a happy sigh, I reached up and wrapped my hand around his neck, pulling him closer. Louis' lips curved into a grin and his hands soon left my face to roam my body. "Say, would you say you have recovered enough from last night to, uh, repeat it?" He said in a husky voice and kissed my neck, sending shivers down my spine. My fingers clawed into his hair and my breath hitched. "I believe your chances are very good" I grinned as Louis replied with a happy growl, pulling me into his arms. We still had heaps of time before we needed to get up.

A good while later, Louis and I were having breakfast at the small table in the trailer when the door opened and Harrys head peaked in. "Are we all dressed and decent?" I rolled my eyes while Louis laughed. "Dressed yeah but you know we're never decent!" He joked. I blushed when Harry raised an eyebrow. He opened the door and came inside, Liam hot on his heels. I didn't even have to ask where Niall was, it was safe to assume that him and Lucy were still, well, busy.

While Harry sat down, Liam poured himself some coffee, his eyes shooting curious glances at me and Louis. "Get a good sleep guys?" He asked innocently, his face showing nothing more than a polite smile. Louis only hummed in response and munched on his toast. My cheeks heat up again, very aware of what Liam had been hinting at. "Yes, thank you Liam." I said with a friendly smile and tried to ignore the blush. "Yes, they seem very well rested, both have such a new glow..." Harry added. "Oh fuck off." I glared at him but he only grinned back cheekily.

Louis, who had ignored the banter, turned to Liam. "Please remind me, what's our plan for today?" Liam sat down next to Harry and got out his phone. His brown eyes narrowed as he stared at the display. "Besides rehearsals tonight, we mainly got that meeting about the States trip. It'll be a bit hectic to be back to the X factor on time but we'll make it work."

My insides felt funny all of the sudden. "What States trip?" I said in a thin voice and turned to Louis, who looked very guilty. "I didn't want to ruin our weekend..." He started off and I felt a wave of disappointment rush over me. "You're leaving again." I concluded and couldn't help but sound bitter. Louis dropped his gaze and stared at the table, looking guiltier than ever before. Heavy silence stretched between us, weighing us down while Harry and Liam shifted uncomfortably.
