Everyone, I am so sorry for taking this long to update. I usually try to publish a chapter every one or two weeks but I am extremely busy with Uni at the moment so I can't really tell when I'll be able to publish the next chapter but I'll try to do it sooner rather than later.
I also just saw that my story has hit 2k reads and I honestly can't thank you enough!! Thanks to everyone who sticks with me and my story!! Thank you to everyone who votes/comments and everyone who just reads the story, it feels great! Loads of love for you guys! Xxx

Yeah, I had just had to put in this random photo of Louis because... Well, just look at it.

Have a lovely evening, I hope you enjoy the next chapter!

The sun had already set when Louis and I finally decided to head back to the car. I was a little surprised at how fast time had flown but I didn't complain. I felt Louis' presence next to me as we stumped through the dark woods, his hand in mine. "Say again, whose idea was it to wait to go back until it's dark? I can't see a bloody thing!" Louis complained and I rolled my eyes. "Stop whining, it was your fault anyway." I stated but Louis shook his head with a serious expression on his face. "That can't be, I am way too smart to make such a stupid mistake." I snorted and continued to walk. "Whatever you say, big guy."

After stumbling in the dark for another half an hour, Louis and I finally made it back to his car. I slumped onto the car seat and waited for Louis to put the rest of our packed lunch into the boot of the car. "You alright, love?" Louis' voice said and my eyes snapped open, I hadn't even noticed that I had closed them in the first place. Louis fell into the driver's seat next to me and gave me a big smile as he closed the door. His hair was messy, leaves were tangled in his brown streaks and he had a little cut on his forehead from a particularly nasty twig but to me, he had never looked more beautiful. "I'm more than alright." I said, earning another smile from Louis. "Thank you, Louis." I added and Louis leaned over to me. "You're more than welcome, my love." He whispered and kissed me.

He softly cupped my face in his hands and pulled me as close as possible with the seatbelts holding both of us in place. Once more, I got completely lost in his touch, I still couldn't believe this was actually happening. Louis' hand wandered down my neck underneath my jacket and I shuddered. Softly but firmly, I broke away from Louis and grinned at him. "Don't get me wrong, I'd love to keep this up." I said and Louis gave me a confused look. "Then what is it?" He asked and moved his lips closer again, kissing my cheek. "You're hands are bloody freezing." I muttered as Louis worked his way down to my chin, every kiss leaving a tingly feeling on my skin.

"Sorry?" Louis asked in-between kisses and I closed my eyes as his lips moved down my neck. "I said-" I began but broke off as he continued to kiss me, distracted. His hands gently traced my shoulder and sent another shiver down my spine. "Fuck Louis, get those fucking ice blocks off my bare shoulders." I squealed and jerked away from him. Louis stared at me in confusion for a split second before he burst out laughing. "Alright, alright, love, let's move this some place a little warmer, eh?" He said and grinned as he settled back into his seat. "Sorry" I said sheepishly but Louis waved me off, looking mildly amused. "Let's go home, love."

The drive back to London went by in the blink of an eye. Louis had turned on the radio and both of us sang along fully-heartedly. I was happier than I had been in a long while. Being here with Louis was the most I had felt at home since I lost my brother all those years ago. Every time I looked at him, I still couldn't believe that he actually liked me. Every smile made my heart jump. Every time he looked at me with those deep blue eyes, I wanted to hug the entire world. Every time he said my name, I couldn't help but smile. Everything seemed completely surreal, like an amazing dream. And still, it just felt so right.
