Chapter Twenty: How Louis Met My Mum and Mental Breakdowns

Hey everyone! Niall is coming for us and our money!! It's gonna be impossible to get tickets for the Flicker Sessions 2017 seeing as there are only very few shows (only a single show in the whole UK !) but he just announced that there'll be a 2018 Tour, so fingers crossed ;) Also: Ten days till 'Back To You' is released...Who else is excited? <3

This new chapter is by far the longest I have written!! I hope you all enjoy it (: Once again, thank you so, so much for reading and a shout-out to all those who vote as well <3

I slammed the door to my flat into lock behind me, kicked my shoes into the corner and headed straight for my bedroom. With a groan, I kicked the door open and dragged myself the last two steps towards my bed before I collapsed onto my beautifully soft and comfortable mattress. Two down, one to go. One more exam before I could live my dream of sleeping, eating and watching TV with no remarkable brain activity all day.

With a sigh, I grabbed my notes and opened the first page. One last glance at these stupid papers before a two and a half months long summer break. My phone buzzed and I quickly checked to see who the message was from. "YES BITCH, I MADE IT! NO MORE EXAMS FOR LUCY, WHOOP WHOOP!!! I think I did alright, how was your Geography exam??? Once you're done tmrw, we'll go celebrate, girl!! Btw, not sure when I'll be home tonight, going over for some post-exam fun to Ellie and Conner, love you!" I grinned at Lucy's text. Although I had finished my exam earlier than Lucy today, she was still the lucky one out of the two of us since she was finally done for the year.

While I was still busy typing a reply for Lucy, another text got in, this time from Harry. "How did your exam go, little one? I had all fingers crossed for ya, but I'm sure you did fine! Only one more to go and you're free. Give Lu a hug from me when you see her! Love, H" My heart melted when I looked at Harry's sweet message. This boy was definitely too good for this world. When the guys had gotten back from the States last week, Harry hadn't tried a single move on Lucy although he had been over at our flat a couple of times.

Lucy and Niall had met up twice over the last week but I hadn't been able to get any information out of Lucy other than "Oh yeah, he's nice". I was glad to see that she was enjoying herself with Niall and I felt a deep respect towards Harry for stepping back so quickly. It was obvious that Niall was completely oblivious to Harry's little crush on my flatmate but I hoped that he and Harry would have a talk if things with Lucy and Niall were to get serious. One of these days Lucy would have to tell me how she felt about the lads.

I texted Harry back and asked him whether we could see each other one more time before the four of them took off to Cardiff tomorrow. Reluctantly, I put down my phone and returned my attention to my notes. I made it through two pages without any interruptions but just when I was about to start a new paragraph, my phone started ringing. I jumped when the sound of 'Sexy and I Know It' filled the room. "Well, that's new." I muttered to myself and looked at the name of the caller in confusion. It was Louis. I cringed at the ringtone and wondered what on earth had happened to my normal, boring ringtone.

"What the fuck did you do to my ringtone?" I greeted Louis and laughter erupted at the other end of the line. "Did you only find out now?" Louis asked, his voice still shaking with laughter. "Yes, now answer me!" I demanded and couldn't stop a grin from appearing on my face. "I changed it yesterday when you went to the bathroom." Louis said as if this was the most normal thing in the world. "How did you even know how to unlock my phone?" I asked him incredulously. "Love, using your birthday as your code is not exactly FBI level." Louis said and I clicked my tongue annoyed.

"I'm changing it back." I stated and Louis chuckled. "Be my guest. Anyway, I just wanted to let you know that I'll be at your place in about five minutes." Louis said and my heart jumped excitedly. "You are most welcome but I have to study, I have my last exam tomorrow." I said and send an angry look at my notes but Louis didn't seem to mind. "I know, I just thought you might need someone to keep you sane. I'll be as quiet as a mouse. Plus, I brought food!"
