Hey everyone! Here is the next chapter. I can't believe I'm already on chapter Nineteen! I've had an idea written out for quite some time now and I could finally use parts of it in this chapter.
I hope you enjoy reading! Thanks for the continuous support, the number of reads are incredible! :)

The door swung into my face and knocked the pile of books right out of my arms, sending me to the ground in a wave of curses and complaints. I heard supressed laughter around me and tried to hide my burning cheeks by letting my hair fall into my face. It had been one of those swing doors and I had been stupid enough to assume that the young man in front of me would hold the door open for me and my bazillion library books. Instead he had ignored a lady in need and sent the metal monster swinging right into my fully packed arms.

I shot the responsible young undergraduate a death glare and he had at least the curtesy to look a little guilty. "Do you need a hand?" A male voice said next to me and two hands began collecting my books and worksheets from across the floor. I looked up in surprise. A fellow student from one of my Science classes was crouching down next to me and gave me a charming smile. "I'm fine actually." I said, trying to look not as pathetic as I was feeling. "I like the floor. The floor is my kingdom!"

The young man chuckled and continued to help me collect my stuff. "You are funny!" He stated but I shrugged unimpressed. "I know. It's one of my many qualities alongside modesty." He grinned and winked at me. "I like funny girls!" My first instinct was to reply 'Oh, good for you!' but he had been really nice to me and was only trying to help so instead I only gave him a smile.

I grabbed my last book and we both got up. "Here you go!" The young man said and handed me the last of my books. I thanked him quickly and kept a careful eye on the pile of books in my arms, not wanting to embarrass myself again by dropping everything. "You're Abby, right?" My fellow Scientist said and I nodded. With a hint of panic I roamed my brain for his name but all that I knew about him was that he was a regular in two of my modules. Although we have been attending the most of the same classes for about four years now, I had no clue what his name was. I was terrible at remembering names.

The blonde young man seemed to notice my struggle because the smile on his face faltered a little. "I'm Andrew. We've been in Blue Planet for about four years now?" I quickly plastered a smile on my face and tried to look as if that was no news to me. "Of course! Thanks for helping me, Andrew!" I adjusted the books on my arms and couldn't help but pull a face at their weight. Andrew's eyes fell onto the huge pile of books. "Do you need some help carrying all this?" He asked and nodded to the library books. I quickly shook my head. "Thanks so much for the offer, but I think I'll be fine!"

"Oh come on, that looks like a lot! Did you have to clear out the whole library?" Andrew stepped closer and took a couple of books from the top of the pile. I gave him a shy smile. "Really, Andrew, that's very sweet of you but I can manage." Andrew only put me off. "My pleasure!" He frowned when he looked at the book on top of his pile. "What do you need all this stuff for anyway? The exams are one week away, you won't be able to learn all of this in only a couple of days."

We stepped out of the main entrance door into the sun. "I know but I need it for my conscience." I said with a shrug. Andrew stepped closer to me as we slowly walked down the stairs to the street. "If you'd like we could study together. I'm sure we could help each other out!" Andrew said and gave me another one of his charming smile. I sighed inwardly. Not that I had a lot of experience with guys hitting on me but I was pretty sure that Andrew had more than just studying in his mind.

When we reached the bottom of the stairs, I turned around to Andrew and snatched my book out of his hands. "Thank you for your help, I think I can take it from here." I said and gave him a smile. "Anytime!" Andrew winked and stepped a little closer. "So what do you say? Should we try to make a little study group?" He repeated his suggestion and I automatically took a step back. "Look Andrew, you are a really sweet guy" 'who I didn't even talk to until today'- I added in my head "but I'm kind of seeing someone. I'm sorry!"
