Hey everyone! Here is another update, I definitely have too much spare time at the moment ;) I hope you all enjoy it!
Considering all that happened in the last week, I'd just like to put this quote by Harry out there. I think it speaks for itself. Lots of love to all of you! <3
"We have a choice every single day we wake up of what you can put in the world and I ask you to please choose love every single day."I woke up the next morning with a feeling as if a whole football team had used my head as a target practise. Groaning, I rubbed my pounding forehead and squinted my eyes against the bright light filling my room. I rolled onto my back and looked at the ceiling while I tried to recall what had happened last night. To my surprise I remembered more than I had expected with my hangover.
With a sigh I sat up and tried to organize my thoughts. I remembered laughing and talking to Lucy and the lads and a lot of dancing. My memory got kind of blurry after a certain point but I definitely remembered being angry at Louis for some reason and a nice guy I talked to at the bar, Sandy or something like that. Thinking about Louis, I felt something bugging me from the corner of my mind and I chewed on my lip, trying to put a finger on it.
Then, the memory hit me with the force of a moving train. I jumped out of bed and regretted it almost immediately as the room started spinning and my head felt like it was going to burst. Blindly, I staggered towards the door and tried to ignore the massive pounding in my head. When I opened the door and stumbled into the living room, I found the couch empty and the cushions and blanket neatly draped over the armrest.
"Abby?" Lucy's voice sounded from the kitchen. With one last look at the empty living room, I made my way over to the kitchen where Lucy was making breakfast. She greeted me with a broad smile but couldn't quite cover up her deep blue under-eye circles and her messy hair. "Good morning, my dear friend!" She chirped and I shot her an annoyed look at her cheerfulness so shortly after getting out of bed.
I held up my hand to silence her and went over to the coffee maker, next to which thankfully an already filled up pot of coffee was placed. Without a word, I filled up a cup of coffee and emptied half the cup in one go. With a happy sigh, I put the cup back down and smiled at Lucy. "Okay, now you may speak." I massaged my temples and closed my eyes, attempting to soothe down the blinding pain in my head. Lucy chuckled next to me and gave me a nudge. "Here you go, cranky pants, please do us both a favour and take these." She shoved a glass of water and a packet of aspirin over to me.
Grateful, I took out some painkillers and downed them quickly under the curious gaze of Lucy. I lowered the empty glass and shot a nervous look at Lucy. The look on her face told me just too clearly that she had seen Louis on the couch when she had come home. I tried to look very disinterested and regarded my fingernails instead of looking at Lucy. "So where is-?" "Loverboy?" Lucy finished the question for me and a mocking grin appeared on her face.
I rolled my eyes but an uneasy feeling was starting to creep in. Maybe something important had happened with Louis last night and I had forgotten. "I meant Louis" I corrected her and avoided Lucy's eyes. "Oh, so did I." Lucy said grinning knowingly. "Anyway, Louis left this morning before we got up but he left you a note." She explained and pointed at a small piece of paper on the counter next to the fridge.
I stepped closer and picked it up. "Good morning, love, I hope your hangover is not too bad ;) I'm sorry I didn't say goodbye but Liam was expecting me and you were still sound asleep when I left. Thanks for letting me crash on your couch last night, I had a great time! I'll call you later today, it also gives you time to sober up :D Xxxxx Louis" I stared at his words, my brain was working very fast and I tried to remember whether there was anything that had happened between me and Louis last night, but if there did it couldn't have ended too well or Louis wouldn't have ended up on the couch.
