Hey folks, here is another update! Once again, thanks to ever reader and especially to MusicAndTVAreLife for your constant feedbacks! It's barely been a week and I can't believe how many of you already read my first chapters. You guys are amazing!
The days till Friday passed in a blur of lectures, people and lots of studying. I spent most of my time in the library, taking up two entire desks just for myself but no one dared to approach me to complain. Much to everyone's relief I started to make some progress on my geography essay which was due the next week and when Lucy came home Thursday night, she nearly freaked out because I had taken the time to cook her favourite meal: wok. "I love you so much right now, you can't imagine it!!" She squealed and gave me a bone crushing hug. I laughed and quickly untangled myself from her to turn down the heat of the stove. "This is just my way of saying thank you for helping me through the week. I know I can be a cranky bitch when I'm stressed so thanks for not killing me!" I said with a smile and moved the wok pan from the stove onto the table. "Who would cook for me if I killed you?" Lucy cheered. "Nah, I wouldn't survive a day without you!"
"This is so good!" sighed Lucy. "I know, I made it!" I replied and Lucy rolled her eyes but she was too busy chewing to snap back. "So you'll be seeing Louis tomorrow, right?" She asked, once she had finished her first plate. "Yup" I said, trying to sound causal and not too freaked out about it. Lucy stayed silent for a moment and I looked up. "Well go on, take your second!" I laughed when I saw her longing look towards the food. As if she'd just been waiting for my command, she grabbed the wok pan without hesitation and emptied it on her plate. Still holding up the empty, upside-down pan, she shot me a glance. "You didn't want any of it, did you?" I shook my head, biting back my laughter. "So about tomorrow" Lucy began, her mouth full with rice and vegetables. "Are you nervous to see Louis again?" I shrugged. "A little, I guess. But I'm mainly excited! I still can't believe I'm hanging out with Louis Tomlinson tomorrow, it doesn't seem real!" "Trust me honey, it is." Lucy said with a pout. "Can we just pretend he's just a normal Louis and not the One D Louis, please? For my sake!"
I shot Lucy a glance. "Sweetie, that's what I tend to do for ninety percent of the time but I can't ignore my inner fangirl forever! Besides, have you ever actually listened to their music, Lu? I think you'd really like them, if you just gave them a chance." I finished and gave her a stern look which she met with a sweet smile on her face. "Darling, yes I have but if you make me listen to 'What Makes You Beautiful' one more time, I promise you, I'll puke." I threw my hands up in exasperation. "That's the only song of them you've ever listened to? Come on, Lu, that was ages ago! They have such different music nowadays, it's pure brilliance. You- you know what?" I said and pointed my finger at her face. "You will listen to every album in my possession. I don't care how long it takes to make you like them but I will make you listen to their music!" Lucy's face displayed naked horror but I just leaned back in my chair with a smug grin on my face. "You wouldn't!" She whispered. "Oh I would!" I chuckled and got up from my chair gracefully. "I cooked, you'll do the dishes. Hey, would you like some music to go with it?" I chirped and walked out of the room feeling victorious.
The next morning I woke up very early, even before my alarm clock went off. I looked at the display on my alarm clock and saw that I still had forty minutes till I had to get up. I groaned and rolled onto the other side. There was no way I would be able to go back to sleep within forty minutes so I might as well just get up and work on my essay before heading off to uni. I made myself a cup of coffee and sat down at my desk. At about 7 am I heard Lucy getting up and sure enough a few minutes later the shower was turned on and Lucy's very own version of One Republic's "Apologize" filled the apartment.
I prepared some breakfast for the two of us, which was very much appreciated by Lucy who tended to be late every single morning. She eyed me while munching on her toast. "Is that what you'll be wearing to Louis later today?" She asked, eyebrows raised. I looked down on me. I was wearing jeans and a tight plain grey shirt, which emphasized my curves. My brown curls were pulled into a messy bun and I had put on only light make up. "Well yeah, I thought I'd leave my wedding dress and bouquet in my closet till our first date." I commented dryly. "What's wrong with the way I look?" Lucy pursed her lips and continued to stare at my outfit. "Nothing..." She said slowly and squinted her eyes, apparently thinking very hard. Suddenly she jumped to her feet and rushed over to her room. Half a minute later she reappeared holding up a white scarf. "This will make your outfit complete!" She cheered, ignoring my annoyed expression. "Thank you Lu, the scarf will definitely make a huge difference to my outfit. Hopefully people still recognize me with this drastic change to my normal clothing!" I said sarcastically. Lucy ignored me and started fussing over my hair instead. I sat there patiently waiting, while she picked on my hair and did god knows what.
